I mainly do it so I don’t buy or read the same book twice 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

SA, I have done that with library books before, reading along then thinking this seems familiar….😂
I too list my books on goodreads to avoid accidental re-reads and also to remember what number of a series I have read, I forget otherwise and end up with another accidental re-read. 🤦🏻♀️I like doing the yearly challenge as well, I managed 112 books last year.Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.7 -
I haven't listed my totals for a while:
Mortgage £12,974.72
Further advance £5,167.53 (have overpaid this by £400 over the last 4 months)
Windows/door £3,875.38
Regular Saver £1750.00
Christmas 2022 £50.78
Emergency fund £6000.00
Holidays £1791.00
House £260.00
I'm not counting the various spending pots in with this lot as they fluctuate so much.
I kept a running total of NSDs over 2021 and they totalled 146 days of the year I spent nothing at all. Need to smash that target this year.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -

I can’t emphasise enough what a difference it’s made with Mr SA no longer having anything to do with the finances. In the past he would’ve seen those totals and spent them, although to be honest they would’ve never built up in the first place. It has been a constant battle with him over the years, for some reason he is very anti saving. I really do think things happen for a reason sometimes.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3
