The first recipe book on my shelf is a cocktail recipe book 🤣 It’s years old, can’t remember the last time I made a cocktail, probably at least 10 years ago. I think this one can go in the charity bag.
The kitten has been playing with the dog’s favourite ball 😬 She’s so funny passing it between her paws like a footballer. The dog has just appeared and taken the ball upstairs 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)11 -
Before the book goes to the charity shop would it be worth taking photos of any recipes you liked.January spends - £587.585

Neither of us are big cocktail fans these days. Most of them are too sweet for me and Mr SA can no longer drink spirits. I can’t imagine we’ll need it again, just taking up space really. I think any books I come across where I struggle to find a recipe to make can go. No point hanging onto them if I won’t use them. I’ve also got books on my Kindle app, the WW app, Deliciously Ella app plus a folder full of ones cut out of magazines. Plenty of choice.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

Morning
Not the best start to the day just had to run out of the house to pick up everything that the wind has blown out of my recycling bin overnight! I'm not joking there was stuff all over the road and in neighbours drives, even across the road. All the pages of last years calendar, a few of Mr SA's empty beer cans and a shoe box right in the middle of the road. I think I've got it all now. How embarrassing 😮 Thankfully it's bin day today so will be emptied soon.
I've been up since 5am, sat and had a coffee and finished my book. Just logged onto work and it looks like it will be a bit busier today, my expected quiet day yesterday didn't turn out to be as quiet as I'd hoped.
It will be another spends day as I'm taking the kitten to the vet for the second attempt at her second jabs and there will be taxi fares to pay. Hopefully they won't think she's having kittens this week. We've had her 7 weeks now and she's not been outside in all that time, if she was pregnant when we got her surely she would be showing signs by now! I still think it was to do with her being on heat last week.
Today's non-work tasks:- Pick a new book to read - something a bit grittier than that last one, it was a bit pink and fluffy.
- Exercise: 20 minutes lower body workout, 20 squats repeated as many times as can be fitted in, lunchtime dog walking. Hoping my Fitbit will arrive today, hate not knowing if I've hit my steps goal.
- Cleaning: bathroom plus ironing.
- More Spanish lessons.
- Take kitten to vets.
Right, rolls up sleeves, let's do Wednesday 😎

I get fed up with neighbours recycling being blown over asnd it all collects outside my back gate. I have complained to the council as we used to have lids for the boxes. There answer? You can buy a cover which is ok but as its not my stuff how is me buying a cover going to help. I aways put the boxes on top of one another and the food waste bin insede the top box.Yes I am afraid we do have food waste - mainly tea bags which the council are happy to take (I dont have a compost bin as I wouldnt have anywhere to use the compost as most of the garden is either pond, gravel or paved with a small rockery which largely looks after itself and a few pots.5

Good news, the kitten isn't pregnant (as I thought) so she's had her second jab. Next step is to get her spayed and microchipped.
In other good news my new Fitbit has arrived and is up and running on my wrist. Just got back from taking the dog on the park and steps have been logged, back in business 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -
