Wow, you have managed to get a lot done in your house.
Fingers crossed for your interview, I want to look for a new job next year, been with my work for 17 years the last few years have been miserable. Take overs old owners no longer part of the business. Oh the thought of an interview makes my stomach churn, but that has to change. I’m just no good at selling myself.Enjoy your trip to lidl4 -
You’ve got so much done!At least MrSA wants to leave the house. MrWW hasn’t left the sofa all holiday 😖

The job will be working for the same organisation just a different part. The interviews are hard because they don’t ask about your experience they ask you random questions and score you on your response. So basically someone who wouldn’t be good at the job could get it as long as they said the right things at interview. That’s why in the 21 years I’ve worked there I’ve only ever applied for 2 jobs. When I get nervous I talk too much but not always about the right things 😆
I’ve booked an appointment for next Thursday for someone to measure up for a replacement patio door blind. It needs doing because I don’t feel safe not being able to pull the blind down at night. I know it wouldn’t stop someone from breaking in but it’s another obstacle. Mind you they’d have to get into my garden first which would be a major feat in itself, it’s like Fort Knox.Mr SA is a bit odd this morning, he still hasn’t had his breakfast, not even his coffee. Although he saw yet another man bag in the charity shop window yesterday and it’s all he’s been talking about 🙄I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -

Lovely to read stories about cats especially ginger felines - we adopted one from a well known charity supported by Mr O’Grady!
Bubbles was my fur baby she loved cuddles and adored being with us - sadly she developed cardio myopathy and died very young - we still talk about her over a decade later and her photo still on the wall of love at our Vets
wishing you luck with the job interview

When I was interviewed for a customer-care role in the charity sector, a decade ago, I was asked to talk to a customer about their holiday wishes and come up with a suggested package. From the customers list of prerequisites (young, active family, didn't want to fly) I described a Eurocamp holiday in South West France so well that the three panellists wanted to book it. In truth it was based on a camping trip me and my young family took, two decades ago, to a lakeside camp near Europe's biggest sand dune, where we had a fabulous time.
You'll be fab. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?8 -
I’ve had quite a productive day. Went to Lidl and managed to pick up a lot of reduced to 20p items that are now in the freezer. Mr SA came down with the dog to help with the bags so she got a good walk as it’s a fair distance. After lunch I made an inventory of what’s in both freezers. Then I sorted out my extremely vast collection of toiletries and made a list of everything I’ve got. I could give Boots a run for their money that’s a fact 🤣
Then took the dog on the park for a run with her ball. Got my steps up to almost 16,000.I’ve also done an hour of Spanish lessons.Just got to have a bath then make tonight’s dinner, we are both having the same thing for once, pizza and salad.I must’ve had a delirious moment as I promised Mr SA we could go into town to look for his jacket tomorrow 😬I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -
Mr SA and his jackets 😀4
