Happy New Year 🥳🥂
I didn’t stay up to see the year in, I was in bed well before midnight. I was shattered after the coat shopping, not the best way to spend the last day of the year. Woke up briefly when I heard fireworks.
I have to go to the local shops today but don’t need much. I also need to look at finances properly after yesterday’s cursory glance. Big pile of ironing to be done and the cleaning/tidying that didn’t get done yesterday. Will need to take the dog out too.We used to go to Lanzarote for 2 weeks every January 1st when Mr SA was working. He was in the building trade, it was always a quiet time work wise so a good time to go. I prefer going in April though.I don’t really do resolutions as such, I want to put a few plans for the year in place but nothing drastic. I won’t be doing dry January that’s for sure, January is a miserable enough month as it is. I already eat healthily and exercise, always have done. I do want to restart tracking my food on the WW app, I’ve got out of the habit in recent weeks. I’ve got 17 weeks until we go to Lanzarote so want to get back in holiday shape, used to call it my bikini boot camp 😆
I must start using my many cookbooks too, try some new recipes out.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -
