Vienettas - now there’s an 80s throwback 😆 It’s just a small freezer with 3 drawers. Planning to keep things like wraps, sandwich thins and batch cooking in it. The regularly used items will remain in the fridge freezer in the kitchen. I did consider a chest freezer but thought it would be too tempting to fill it and then forget what was in there. I remember my parents getting a huge chest freezer and having a delivery of frozen food for it. I was terrified of it and was convinced I was going to fall in it and get trapped 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

Vienetta fml had to smile lol def a massive throwback to the 80s - my dad refused to ever let one of those near his kitchen both home and work. He was and still is very fussy about food/ ingredients etc etc. Sister had a schoolmate who when she went over there for dinner would serve it as a dessert for a ‘treat’, come home tell me how amazing it was. Finally tried it as a kid at someone else’s and it was the most !!!!!! disappointing thing that has ever crossed my lips. Sister had spent about two !!!!!! years winding me up about how amazing it was lol.6

Happy Monday.
It's like a winter wonderland out there this morning. So glad I'm WFH today although I wouldn't have risked it as the pavement look treacherous.
I've got a busy work day today, busy week actually and only a 4 day one as I'm hopefully going for lunch with friends on Friday, weather and Covid permitting.
Should be NSD 12/12 today. I'm setting a target of 10 for December as I still have presents to buy and I'd like to go out for lunch/drinks/Christmas events a few times. The most important thing to me is staying in budget not the amount of days I don't spend.
Best get on with things...I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -
I’m with you on the keeping on budget rather than the NSDs. I found I was sabotaging myself because if I’d had a small spend would say….I’ve blown it so might as well carry on spending 😳
Sorry about your friend. It’s treacherous here. I thin layer of snow that’s frozen into an ice rink 😳
The perfume bargain sounds lovely too.January spends - £587.586 -
I love Vienettas!
Just thought I would share.
Not the Vienetta. Don't be ridiculous!Nevertheless she persisted.5 -
Another manic Monday done ✔️ Been super busy all day. I didn’t get half of what I wanted to done.Managed to put the Christmas tree up and get the lights on it. The baubles are a job for tomorrow. I’m really fussy about the tree and I never like it when it’s first decorated, I’m forever rearranging the baubles and won’t let anyone else touch it 🤣Took the dog on the park at lunchtime, lulled into a false sense of security as the snow had melted and the pavement and roads looked clear. The pavement was clear but slippery and the path leading down to the park was treacherous with impacted ice. The park itself was still full of snow.Payday tomorrow 🥳I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Vienetta v Artic Roll? Artic roll for me please 😋

I haven’t seen arctic roll for years! My 80’s dream pudding was super mousse in those little plastic tubs. Choc n nut ones where you had to crack the chocolate with your teaspoon. In those days our freezer was the size of a couple of ice cube trays so we had to beg mum to get them 🤣 (also a big bag of wheelz crisps and some cola and a good book (preferably Biggles) to complete my 80’s experience)Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
