We have to watch it live so we can do the online voting….so we always start tea early and get all the jobs done in the nick of time. I’d be horrified if it was on after 9pm 🤣
I hope you feel better soon. It is a worry with the new variant and utter madness insisting people go into the office when it’s still spreading ☹️

I suspect they put it on at that time so the children can watch it. I know it’s a real treat for my eldest gdd as she gets to stay up to watch it all 😂😂😂but her little sister lasts a couple of dances and ends up going to bed because she can’t stay awake 😍

Happy Sunday 😎 Nice and sunny here but very cold. Would be a great day for a long walk but waiting in for the freezer delivery. Will have time to take the dog on the park across the road though before the estimated time slot starts.

I got a brilliant bargain yesterday on my own Christmas present from Mr SA. Look Fantastic were doing 25% off all Estée Lauder plus extra 5% off at checkout. Got some perfume for Mr SA to wrap up for me 50ml bottle plus 2 little handbag sized ones then a free full sized primer and mascara as gifts with purchase and free delivery. I also got 10% cash back via TCB. I love it when this sort of thing happens. I’ve been looking for a decent offer on this perfume for ages, I had a free sample of it in the summer and loved it (Beautiful Magnolia). My usual go to is Chanel Coco Mademoiselle but now and again I like a change. 

Today should be NSD 11/12. 

The Christmas decorations are out of the store cupboard so I plan to make a start. Also need to do a meal plan for next week, got some new recipes to try. There is also another WW live cook along early evening, I enjoy these. 

Just finished my latest book, a Christmas one, Moonlight over Manhattan by Sarah Morgan. It was a very light read but good, feel like I need to go onto something a bit grittier next. I like to mix up my genres 😆

Still got a bit of a cough and the snuffles but otherwise feel ok.

My mother's favourite perfume was Youth Dew. I always think Estee Lauder makes very classy perfumes.  Some of the more "modern" perfumes can smell very cheap. I like Anais Anais but it seems to have disappeared from Central Scotland.

I love beautiful but I’ve never smelt magnolia, I’ll have to look out for that. 

At least you know your getting something nice that you want for Christmas 😀

The best laid plans …

Was just about to take the dog out when Curry’s arrived over an hour early. So was faffing about with that and trying to motivate Mr SA to unlock the gate so they could make the delivery 🙄 He was so slow I had to tell them to leave it in the drive. They could’ve done another 10 deliveries in the time it took him to find his keys. Honestly it’s like Fort Knox Mr SA has got that many padlocks and bolts on everything. 

Went down the garden to get the brush to sweep some leaves up and noticed the wind had blown the bamboo fence down 😩 After shouting Mr SA several times he finally came to help me put it back up. Apparently I have no hammer skills according to him. 

Got the freezer unpacked and set up in the covered area where Mr SA’s scooter lives. Just got to do something with the wire so he doesn’t trip over it. DD had a good idea so will see if that works. Went to switch on the outdoor Christmas lights to find Mr SA had cut through the wire at some stage 😩 

Then it was lunchtime. 

So have got no further with the decorations and I still need to take the dog out.

Didn’t get far with the decorations in the end. Have done the living room window and that was it. I ordered a Christmas throw for the sofa yesterday and it arrived today. Really pleased with it. 

DD’s idea for the freezer wire worked, she comes in useful sometimes 😆 Made me smile when Mr SA had showered at 4pm and was getting a beer and she said to him “beer o’clock already” 🤣 Giving it overnight to ‘do’ then I’ll start putting stuff in it. 

It snowed this afternoon and settled. 

A work friend has badly broken her ankle on the ice today. She only commented on my FB memory of breaking mine 5 years ago a couple of days ago. How ironic. 

Talking of ankles mine is playing up today, not sure if it’s the cold, it’s quite painful. They did say they the screws and plate could be removed if they caused problems but not even thinking of going down that road yet. 

Blooming fuming Dan didn’t go out of Strictly tonight, he was rubbish 🤬

But he is good news value so they will drag it out.  That sort of thing just reminds me why I don't watch those programs.

I’m glad the freezer is sorted. All that space to fill! Vienetta’s are breeding in our chest freezer…I don’t even like them, but MrWW likes to buy tons on offer and then won’t waste them by eating them 🙄🙄

The Christmas throw sounds good and a Sunday delivery!! Look at you in the real world! 😬 I don’t think the pony and traps work on weekends up here 😬
And Dan 😡😡 in the interview bit with Claudia you could see he clearly doesn’t realise how outclassed he is.
