I'm just going to go in branch tomorrow, get the balance updated and make a cheque withdrawal. Simpler I think.

Check your LeedsBS account - it should say that maturity instructions have been received - the message appreared on my account and my partner's account the day after the instructions were submitted.

I will have a look thanks, I think I had money from them before so they shouldn't need to confirm the details of my current account.

Hope it does as I need that money to start flowing into the new LBS saver, Virgin one, Santander one and the Nottingham one I am going to open as that money going out is most of my free salary lol

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Their final one yes, issue 22

It was closed for new accounts at the end of December - it's only one year at 2.3% and matures in early December this year

I've checked my account today 1st Feb and it still says Regular saver 2.55% - I was going to close it in branch today but I'm reluctant to when it still shows 2.55%

It looks like that is going to be the easier option, still waiting for mine to transfer across.

So if I take my passbook in tomorrow, it should update with interest? I haven't asked for the money to be transferred anywhere.
