Couldn't agree more. 70 quid for two people to fly to another country, that's shockingly overpriced...JoseChungsDoomsday wrote: »I'm getting really sick and tired seeing the title Ryanair rip off0 -
My theory proven once again - when someone says it's a rip off then it isn't.JoseChungsDoomsday wrote: »I'm getting really sick and tired seeing the title Ryanair rip off0 -
and yet again i read the title and think "here we go again!"
The flight is fantastic value - how far would two people get on british rail for £20? I have just booked return flights from East Midlands to Berlin for £20 return. I'm only going for a few days so can quite easily get by with a small carry-on bag. Are you sure you need to take luggage with you?0 -

Yeah - me too! I use Ryanair regulary and have no complaints. If people want to take check in baggage, let them pay for it, I hardly ever do and get Priority boarding as well
Charging for checked in bags is the future, so get used to it. American have just started charging on their donestic routes and other Airlines are expected to follow suit.

So run this past me again.........who's fault is that  It's hardly in the small print.

If you're only taking hand luggage, then you won't have to pay for this.
Yes, you can use the on-line check-in, this means you can check in from home rather than having to do it at the airport. See here for details Ryanair - Check 'N Go
With regards the maximum size of hand luggage the Ryanair site says - "One item of cabin baggage per person, weighing no more than 10kg and with maximum dimensions of 55cm x 40cm x 20cm, may be carried into the aircraft cabin free of charge."
If you pay using Visa Electron, you won't be charged for the transaction.
Hope this helps!

I didn't say the flights were expensive but charging £24.00 a bag is unreasonable.
They are using the phrase, '1p Flights', but must people do take a bag on holiday with them, so the cost is often much higher.
They used to not charge for one bag, then they increased it to £8, now £24.
£24 has taken it a little too much imo.0 -
I'm sorry but i have NO sympathy to anyone who goes over there luggage allowance.
it's written there, and when i book a flight it is one of the 1st things that i check.
As for the price of ryanairs flights and the extra cost for taking luggage, well as someone stated it stil works out cheaper than some other flights.
I've never had a problem with ryanair, and find there leg room fine, after doing over 10 hours to goa, with monarch, called cattle class, that's cramped.
I can get a flight to dublin for the day for a total cost of £2.40, cheap flights, no luggage, and card charge.
it costs me £1.80 for a 10 min bus ride into town.0
