    Hi,

I have been invited to a party which sells supposedly decent quality cookware, which is from the U.S... It is called chef something or something like that, but as I have never heard of it before I am bit wary that it is just a scam... Has anyone been to one or know what it is called so I can do some research?

    Any feeback would be great!

Hi this will be pampered chef http://www.pamperedchef.com/index.jsp?localeString=en_gb
the stuff is expensive (think Lakeland) but is brilliant I reccomend the stoneware and also the micro cookers for veg
they have small bits for sale too I have the orange peeler and apple corer and would not be without them!

My frind has the party's semi regulary they are good and include a cooking demo where you all get a taste yummy!

    i do body shop parties
i joined in november did my 6 parties mid december and was then led to beleive i could carry on partying at my leisure, i didnt hear from my manager until february when she called to say they wanted my kit back as i have partied, i could only keep it if i get £150 sales by friday (this call was on a tues)
i didnt arrange any parties as it wasnt suitable for me as i have other priorities at the moment, but i still have my kit and she hasnt been in contact so i guess it was just an empty threat!

i have to say its been really hard to get many parties booked, but im determined to make more than £30 with this, so any ideas on finding new hosts would be great!!
    Hi hon,
Do you have any business cards? if you live near a bodyshop store you can sometimes leave some by the till in case the odd customer asks about the parties or put up a postcard in your newsagents window it's always a good cheap place to start. lol x.

I did mention further up the thread that you wouldn't be considered if you work. Some people have also mentioned that its better to work throughout the year and that Chocoholics is seasonal which it is. But what you need to bear in mind is we probably make as much as everyone else but without the need to work the whole year. (Possibly even more, I earn't £7,500 just in the 10 week Xmas season). Easter tends to be less but can be approx £2500.

I also wonder if I actually did the party for the lady further up the thread because as far as I am aware I was the only distributor that takes a laptop to parties. Having said that I have talked about it to lots of the other distributors and maybe some of them are doing the same thing now.
    £2.00 Savers Club = £34.00 So Far

+ however may £2 coins I have saved in my Terramundi since 2000.

Glad I could help hon. As well as this you could go onto the loot website. It is a free ads paper where you get an advert in print for a day and online for a week for FREE. I do this for Ann Summers parties and generally advertise in the What's on section. even if you don't get many replies, it's something for nothing. xx.

It's hit and miss. Put 3 ads in and got a couple of replies to one of them asking to make orders straight from the catalogue. Not bad from a free ad, give it a go.
    :p lol.
