:hello: I'm considering starting 'party planning'. I would be grateful if anyone could let me know their experiences of 'Body shop at home' and 'Virgin Vie at home' specifically.
I am sceptical about this sort of way of making money usually but a friend of mine is starting this kind of work soon and its got me interested...
I would be grateful of any advice/info that anyone may have!:j
    Thanks:T

Hi there! I did Body shop at home a few years ago and I found it to be good money but very boring, I do Ann summers now and its alot of fun, fairly straight forward and i earn around £40-60 a night off the sales and generally around the same again from doing a Bingo or Raffle.

If your interested i can point you in the right direction, Ann summers dont charge you upfront to join however the other 2 do (with Bodyshop look out for the £35 kit joining offer!)

i have also found a new one which me and my friend are going to join its quite new so if you did it you'd probably be the only one local doing it which would mean all the parties would come to you www.trulymadlybaby.co.uk
I will let you all know how it goes!

I have done most of them so feel free to message me for any advice!!

    Christine

    What i have done

    Usborne books
    Avon
    Betterware
    Body shop at Home
    Virgin Vie
    Ann Summers
    (just joining) TrulyMadlyBaby

Okay, after reading this thread and doing a bit of thinking/research, Ive decided Id like to do a bit of Party Planning..

I thought maybe a could do a couple, and as a fulltime mum whose partner works nights it'd be ideal to find those with not much obligation, so I could do it as and when I could [every couple of weekends maybe..]

I was really interested in Body Shop @ Home, but not sure I can be doing with the regular training, and travelling for meetings etc, as well as the 6 parties in 3 weeks.. but am still looking into it..

Have jus printed out my Usborne Books @ Home application, as it seems you can do this as and when you want, and with a 4 year old this would be ideal! Thanks to all that recommended! :) Can any of those that do Usborne PM me [or even reply to thread if it helps others too.. :)] Im wondering about self taxing, is this necessary for this? And how do I go about this?

And anyone who knows of any other Party Plans that would be ideal for me, would be grateful for the advice!!

I have joined a party plan business called PartiCraft! they are sooo supportive, always at the end of the phone! I've made my money back on the Demonstrator kit already with only two parties. There really fun to do to-from kids birthday parties, workshops etc. Its really good fun working for a company that cares and is there for you! good luck and i hope you enjoy as much as i do!

Hi, I'm a PartyLite consultant.... it's great fun and a great earner. As someone's already said..there's no outlay - so nothing to lose. I'm on track for earning £400 for 18 hours work this month, plus about £50 worth of freebies. Anyone want to join me in Greater Manchester?
The thing I like about PartyLite is that it's not sales sales sales...I personally just show the products, explain how to get your value for money and how to get freebies.... it's all good fun and it's chipping away at my overdraft too!
