If nothing else it is a gentle way to find out how you feel if the fund drops by 50%

    £156.73

    Still a bonus on my £100. :)

(Edited because that sounded flippant. I only mean that knowing me it is 50/50 on collecting the bonus by having done it correctly.)

Well we did the the MoneyFarm GIA via TopCashBack that I mentioned earlier but they wanted £900 per month DD and paid out £200 after 3-4 months. Or £1500 lump sum then £150 per month DD for £120 after 3-4 months. They were a bit annoying as they phone you up and try and encourage you to invest more. Keen to build a relationship, etc. Still the cashback tracked ok and the withdrawal and closure was quick at the end.

Nutmeg and Wealthify used to have similar offers but I think their business model has moved on now. Nutmeg still do the £25 introduce a friend where the friend gets 3 months with no fees and we got that when opening my wife's LISA.

There are some friendly societies too but they tend to be with-profit funds where the impact of early withdrawal (or fees for average performance if left invested) outweighs the cashback or bonus.

Sometimes cash savings providers do cashback but I am regretting the £20 easy saver cashback from AA/BOI as I have been trying to withdraw the £100 deposit for weeks now.

Should be it's still on the Orbis website and according to the terms the investment order needs to be placed (or ISA transfer initiated) before 22nd Jan.

From memory you place the order as part of the signup process (but others who have signed up more recently might confirm - it was 9 months ago for me) so it should be good to get this on Sat/Sun but not Mon.

I am not sure if placing the the order is delayed if they need to check your ID (again others can confirm as we didn't have the ID issue) but I would still think it likely they would honour the deal.

When I saw they were offering this for GIAs I did online chat and asked them several times if my understanding was correct given we had previously had bonuses for the JISA and and my wife's ISA and they were friendly enough.

If anyone misses out this time keep an eye on their website as they might run a similar offer in March/April.
