    Good morning everyone,
I hope work is less stressful today Brambling- just focus on that G&T tomorrow night:cool:.
Really cold here today and we've had some sleet/hail showers, definitely feels as though winter isn't quite finished.
I'm waiting for a parcel to be delivered so don't want to do anything noisy in case I miss the door. I was going to hoover but will sweep through with the broom instead.
Last of the soup I made earlier in the week for lunch with a cheese salad roll. Tonight it's either corned beef stew from the freezer or sausages.

Porridge breakfast, then into town mooching

Cold day, rain off & on

Found a battery driven toothbrush in @sda, the chargeable ones have a docking station, fine, except the attached plugs are two pin for bathroom shaver socket, and no 3 pin adaptor. Bummer.
I toyed with just cutting the 2 pin off & fitting a 3 pin, but decided on replaceable battery jobby for now . First world problems eh?

Cheered up a bit, bought YS rolled pork joint, not in my usual high welfare meat category but I just fancied some pig product today

Following the piggy line, lunch was a bacon, lettuce & tom sarnie

Joint's in a low oven, I've a pack of OOD S & O stuffing so I'll make that up later
Not sure if dinner will be roast etc, or CBA sliced pork & stuffing sarnie, or something in between, with chips & beans maybe?

I bought an adapter plug for mine only cost a couple of £2:)

My parcel came just after I posted so no excuse not to hoover:rotfl:. Had a wrestle with Henry and while it might not be the most thorough job done it's certainly much better than it was:D.
There was more soup left than I thought, not enough for two portions but more than I would usually have. Reckoned I didn't need the extra calories from cheese and just had the roll to dip with it.

My parcel contained a new non-stick deep frying pan as my current one is well past it's best, it's granite rather than teflon coated and guaranteed for 25 years so should last. Might need to try it out later:D

One of the CFO standbys, and very tasty at anytime

Caron.yep did think of adaptor, I'll check while I've got free trial on Prime, but I "think" I've got one somewhere for mobile charger, I'll need hypnosis regression to find it though:)

Pork's out, with a bath full of fat, I suppose I could stick a wick in it as Brexit prepping:D

The stuffing is fine, decided it's beans & chips to go with the pork, too late to faff prepping veg now

I had porridge for breakfast and the chicken and veg soup I made yesterday for lunch. My middle dd is popping over at some point to pick up a parcel so have not made anything for an evening meal yet.

I have a few cooked sausages in the fridge and turkey bacon and eggs so might have that later. I am looking after baby grand daughter tomorrow and might make beef and veg stew in pressure king pro while she has a nap in the afternoon.

Wrestled with the super king and manged to change the duvet etc. Is it just me or is there always an edge that does not have the duvet stuffed inside properly?

I got a letter from musclefoods with a really good deal as a welcome back but when I got onto the website I could not find that deal anywhere so e mailed to query it.

I got mine in SM Farway could be worth a look in Lidl's middle isle or a £1 shop;).
I make fat cakes for the birds using LO pork or beef fat & bird seed/nuts/oats/dried fruit depending on what I have in. They love it. If you pop the mix in fairy cake cases it hardens really well, is easy to remove and they fit in a suet ball feeder (well they fit mine:)) if you don't flatten them too much. They keep in fridge for yonks or you can freeze them. Failing that keep it for roasties, it will keep for months time in a lidded tub or old jam jar in the fridge:)

Nope not just you - I either get in in first go or it's never quite right. A bit like parallel parking in my driving days:rotfl::rotfl:

    Good evening everyone,

I spoke too soon re having finished with my Dad's finances:o, I forgot his house insurance expires at the end of the month and he appeared with the renewal notice earlier. I've had a good look about and the best saving I can see is just over £5 with a company I've never heard off and lots were dearer. I reckon he'll just want to stay with his current one which is probably what I would do to tbh.
I decided that I fancied corned beef stew more than bangers tonight so just some nuking needed though I might poach an egg to go with it:). My son is home tomorrow and I suggested I make the "cheats" katsu curry I tried a few weeks ago and unless he gets a better offer I think that will be what we have.

I've a neighbour who also went on the market 2-3 weeks ago.... it's a long tortuous wait to find out "how much" -and- "so what's that look like inside?"
My neighbour's definitely got more stuff/better stuff than me :)

The house is completely empty PN, I had previously been inside downstairs but was more curious over the price, it seems it has the original mid1960s bathroom and I think the kitchen isn't much younger.

You do realise what you'll be doing for your dad this time next year don't you Caronc :rotfl:

Nice to see you back Candy :)

My got up and go has got up and gone today but I did make deadlines without working too late, even if lunchtime was on the run again  I have admitted defeat as I'm not going to stop my manager from not liking data so changing it 'just add a 0 there'. It goes against the grain with me which he is aware :wall:

Lunch was soup, so no surprise there :D dinner was chicken Kiev from the freezer with HM chips, runner beans and broccoli

    Good morning everyone,

Very cold & wet here this morning and we've to get gales this afternoon.
Groceries have been delivered and put away. I'm just enjoying a quick cuppa before I clean the bathroom.
My son should arrive late afternoon so I'll not be CFO for a few days and may not get the chance to post. I hope everyone has a good weekend.
"Cheats" katsu curry for dinner tonight and lunch will either be a cheese salad sarnie or scrambled eggs.
