Good morning everyone,
Glad things are sorted now Farway.
Bright and breezy here this morning, so nice to see the sunshine after the wet and gloom. I'm off to physio at lunchtime and then I'll what the day brings afterwards. If I'm not feeling too battered I'm make a start on the larder cupboard this afternoon.
The Hugh F-W high fibre red pepper and sweetcorn soup was delicious, a definite keeper. Just as well as it made much more than the specified four portions! Two were had last night, two will be frozen, two are going to DS1 & DIL when we visit tomorrow and I'll have the remaining small portion for lunch with some roast chook and salad. DS2 had popped by M&S yesterday and amongst some deli bit got a reduced cook in the bag chook which I cooked yesterday evening. We had some with our soup and the rest will be used for lunches this week. Trying this for dinner tonight Carrot And Egg Omelette | Chinese-Inspired Recipes | Tesco Real Food which we'll have with rice/cauli rice and salad.

A day of sunny intervals and a fresh breeze, great for catching up on my laundry.
I cooked a batch of chickpeas in the SC this morning, they are almost ready and I’ll get them bagged and stashed in the freezer. Leftover mushroom ragu also portioned and put in the freezer.
Lunch was cheese salad.
Dinner will be chicken kiev and I’ll do a couscous salad to go with it, but there’s also some cavolo nero that needs using so it might be stir-fried or crisped up in the AF.
