I am dreading London today as it is meant to be so hot! I am going out for lunch so I didn't want to ruin my appetite so I only had some watermelon and a smoothie. I fancy a lasagne again so I might get a veggie one with a salad for lunch.

Hot already, after a hot & sleepless night. may cool a bit over the weekend, like down to a chilly 25C 😁
Too hot to do much except finalise my Asda shopping for next week, after reading W2000 I'll make sure a veg lasagne is on there.
Lunch, something TBD salad sandwich
Dinner, something TBD + AF chips + salad

Good morning everyone,
Commiserations to those in the very hot parts of the UK. It's cloudy here and and 18C what a contrast! I made a good start on the larder cupboard and have "decluttered" a load of very old dried beans and pulse with pre-Coved BBE dates, some which came from my Dad's! I dread to think how long they would take to soften……🫢 I'll try and get a bit more done today. Tesco due later, 4 items OOS but household stuff and nothing that can't wait until the next order.
LO curry for lunch and there's a tub for the freezer for a future soup. I've chicken thighs defrosting for TBD bung in tonight.

Yes Caronc some of FF offers are very good. I can be a bit fussy and dislike the effect freezing has on some but so far I’ve liked their sliced peppers, asparagus and broad beans.
Temp in my neck of the woods is mid 20’s, cloudy with the threat of thundery showers so it’s still comfortable enough to be out and about.
Yesterday I just had fruit and cheese for lunch before going bowling. The local butcher has added a merguez sausage to their selection so I used one along with some peppers in a sausage pasta for dinner last night, it was delicious and I’ll definitely do it again.
This morning I was at the hairdresser and feeling so much better and cooler. Lunch was a leftover bean burger with salad and coleslaw and tonight I’ll do a prawn and vegetable fried rice
