Good morning everyone,
Grey, cooler and very, very wet today. I'm meeting friends at lunchtime and suspect I'll not manage to avoid the rain! We are just heading to one of the local cafes for a light lunch and a good natter.
Managed to get the smaller freezer reloaded and inventoried yesterday when I get back from lunch I'll get the defrosted chest freezer wiped out and DS2 can return it to the garage once it's dried and aired.
Tring this Spiced Salmon With Chickpeas | Salmon Recipes | Tesco Real Food for dinner tonight which we'll have a few new potatoes. For ease I'll reduce the salmon but otherwise follow the recipe so there will probably be LOs.

I'm eating out tonight as I have a meet-up quite early so I only had some crackers and some Quorn ham. I will have some fresh fruit or a smoothie before I go out. Luckily, it isn't meant to be as hot this evening.

Late today, Asda delivery this morning one not available, celery, no problem missing that, the other item was a bit worse though, my on offer fresh salmon side was BBE tomorrow, so only "good" for twenty four hours realistically. I had hoped for four meals, use some, freeze some. Time before it was the steaks, now the salmon have had to be returned. Luckily I do not rely on delivery and have plenty of alternatives stored.
Lunch, BLT, the offer bacon was fine 😀
Dinner, Plan change with salmon return. Now C & O pasty, AF chips + salad

I picked up some YS beef mince in tesco yesterday, froze half of it and made a lovely pot of chilli with the rest.
I also made curried butternut squash soup with what was left after the stew I made on Sunday, so the freezer is well stocked up with soup again.
Annoyingly our rescheduled bowling match was rained off again last night but there’s a huge improvement today with sunshine and very few clouds in the sky.
More of the soup and chilli for lunch and dinner today.
