On same tracks again, I was only thinking I'd try & lug out my pressure cooker, it's way back in bottom cupboard so quite a job to get it, and it may need a new seal it's so long since it was used. It's a Prestige so spares readily available should I ever reach it.
I used to make a demon bacon & onion suet roll thingy in it, much to my vegetarian children's' disgust when they lived here:)
It's turned into a manky, cold & wet night so stovies it is for dinner before a bit of TV and another early night. I had a good snooze this afternoon and feel as though the antiBs are definitely kicking in, they seem to be making me extra hungry for some reason though! Hopefully by tomorrow some of my oomph will have returned:).0 -
Wednesday beetroot is meant to lower blood pressure but you might need to eat a lot in a week for it to work that quick
When I lived in a flat one of the neighbours had a baby making 6 children  my elderly neighbour was horrified I didn't help by commenting with 5 children in a two bedroom flat how did they find the privacy to have a 6th :rotfl: it seems 3 girls in double bedroom, 2 boys in the single and the parents and baby in the lounge.
Hope you have a better day tomorrow Caronc, you definitely can't beat HM chicken soup when you're feeling carp
A gray day here although the rain held off during the day it's forecast from now until Thursday morningit was really foggy driving home tonight , not my favourite way of driving
Work is manic at the moment but at least it meant the day went quicklyI may murder my senior manager by the end of the week but that's not unusual for the beginning of the month chaos it gets worst as he tries to 'help' me I was trying to persuade him to delegate something to me as it means less work in the end, I was trying to be tactful which doesn't come natural to me

Lunch was a repeat of yesterday's minestrone soup, I have two portions left and i don't think I'll freeze it as it's very nice. I did get a short walk in to clear my head

Yesterday I had a couple of small peshwari naans (L1dl, 6-packs, vacuum packed). That was one on two occasionss through the evening.
This morning it was just toast for breakfast.....
Damp/grey/miserable here.... and the weather's similar.0 -

Good morning everyone,
Damp, chilly and grey here too this morning.
I'm feeling a bit better this morning but goodness knows where my oomph has got to. All I've done is get up, had a shower / washed my hair and got dressed and I'm shattered. I want to strip my bed today but apart from that and some laundry I don't think I'll be doing much else today. Soup and a sarnie for lunch and probably pasta for dinner. My nephew is popping by later with more of the mouthwash I've to use and a few bits of groceries. I'm not needing very much just sandwich stuff really and coffee. That should tide me over until next week when I'll get a delivery organised.0 -

The house is 12' wide; living room's about 12' square, kitchen's 12'x8'. Bed 1 is about 12'x10', Bed2 is about 12'x8'.
Different area ... don't need a bigger place, ideally I'd like more "facilities".... e.g. a garage, off road parking within a clear boundary (walled/fenced/gated)... a conservatory of any size/sort is but a dream.... ideally a bungalow, many of those seem to have peculiar layouts though.
Ah, I see. My house is slightly smaller than your place, less than 700 sq ft.I put them down to my mind trying to make "sense" of the skewed messages my brain gets......
Yes, I read the same thing.:DWednesday beetroot is meant to lower blood pressure but you might need to eat a lot in a week for it to work that quick

Hmm, beetroot. I am actually going to do a cleanse for a couple of days before I get my blood test next week so I might look into getting some beetroot!:)
I didn't mind the size of my house when I worked outside the home as I was out quite a lot but being here all the time over the past few years I really notice how small it is.
It probably doesn't help that at one point we had about 8 animals as well.:rotfl:0 -
I forgot I had the jar of pasta sauce in the fridge so I didn't have the stir fry last night.
I chopped up and roasted some carrot, onion and a red pepper and then had it with the pasta sauce and the noodles. It was really delish. I'm about to have the leftovers for brunch.:cool:2025 GOALS
