I was going to have beans on toast today but I had PB and banana instead.

I just got back from my walk. I woke up grumpy but feel a bit better. One of the shops near has been open all over x-mas, even until the day and night on x-mas day!

I feel sorry for them but they must be raking in the money.:D

I have some roasted chickpeas leftover so I'm going to cook some broc, carrots and rice and have a curry later.:)

The last couple of posts now have me fancying beans on toast, and for CFO it ticks a lot of boxes

However, dinner still on target, with a twist, found some not quite wrinkled mushrooms at rear of fridge, so those from part of the banger, beans egg & chips combo

Trifle made & chilling out in the fridge, using some of the mushroom space:)
I'm planning plopping Greek yoghurt on top, but may swap for ice cream come dole out time

Happy new year, one and all!

I haven't been in much over the Christmas break. Just been doing other things I guess. :) I don't go back to work until the 7th though, so still plenty of relaxing still to do.

I had a late breakfast of bacon sandwiches and coffee. Followed up mid-afternoon with a kiwi and a yoghurt. But now I've just made the mistake of eating an entire tube of Munchies, and they aren't sitting at all well. I rather guzzled them at speed I'm afraid. Very stupid of me!

My plan for tomorrow is to take the Christmas decs down... The tree is a big job, as I like an ornate and "full" tree. So getting all the baubles off, and the lights off... It takes a while.
I might perhaps take the Christmas cards down this evening, and make them into next years gift tags. That's an easy job to start with.

thank you for this Money, I don't know how to check, so its down to Pastures to post now if she still wants to, wouldn't blame her if she didn't now. Just think it was so unfair and downright petty. and I hate that Lol MSE maybe should consider its the long term posters like PN that made it the big thing it is today.

Love your signature by the way concerning Black sheep lol been my experience too.

Last day off today :( back to work tomorrow and the joys of the usual start of the month/year chaos. As well as cleaning the kitchen white goods inside and out (the oven isn't white  ) I've put away Christmas, not sure why I can't get the decorations back in the box they came out of when I haven't brought anything new  so it's currently hidden in the spare bedroom until I get round to rejigging the contents :shhh: just need to find somewhere to put a present from my nephew which isn't really me but I'll have to put it on show

Lunch was jacket potato with the last of the LO beef and some pickles. Dinner was duck breast, with griddled asparagus and chicory and new potatoes not what I planned but I cba to do a stir fry :o. I made chicken soup from stock from the freezer which will do lunches for the rest of the working week :)
