I had weetabix this morning but I wasn't that hungry and then my stomach was growling during the last part of my mental health workshop.:o :Luckily the woman next to me kept coughing and it drowned it out.:p
I just got home and devoured a veggie pasty and then also a sandwich.Ooh enjoy tomorrow hun;)
I've had mushroom pizza for tea, well a 3rd of it.Struggling to eat today
I had to cancel as I got an evening appointment today instead, not with the good looking doctor now, unfortunately!:D0 -
Porridge breakfast, then first shopping day this year, milk was running low but loads of XCFO food left, it's going down a bit now, probably round my belly:o, scales day tomorrow
Only YS was Iceland, Ginster's pasties, 2 per pack I bought two packs, one for freezer one for today. plus Warburton's loaf on offer 50p, bought one of them, not my normal choice but at that price it'll do
Greengrocer had YS made up bags pf parsnips & carrots, 50p, one of each purchased, they'll keep
Lunch was one of the pasties, with brown sauce
I've taken a pack of YS diced beef out to defrost, plan for tomorrow is a stew, using some of the carrots & parsnips, plus usual bits & bobs
I've cleaned the gungy cast iron pot and intend using it in oven for the stew
Dinner is going to be remaining YS pasty, frozen chips & open a tin of beans
With more trifle to follow later
Caron, I've never had a rat indoors before, I'm thinking it just found a hole and squeezed through on the off chance
Another rat free day:jEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0 -

Good evening everyone,
Brown sauce all the way for me, I'm not a fan of ketchup.
Glad there is no further sign of ratty Farway:).
It has been blinking baltic here today, I was fine while I was doing choresbut felt it cold when I sat down to do some finance stuff online. Got the stove lit pronto and it's nice and cosy now.:)
I've had a fairly productive day and the house is certainly a lot tidier and bit cleaner than it was.:)
Lunch was 1/2 mug of LO cauliflower soup with a sandwich using up the last slice of a pack of cooked pork and tomato. I was still peckish afterwards as only had a banana and a satsuma for breakfast so polished of the last mince pie with a spoonful of lurking whipped cream:D.
I did make a pan of mash but now cba making fish cakes. Instead I'm going to have a "deconstructed" oneaka salmon & mash with LO HM lemon butter sauce and steamed pak choi, peas and green pepper. I'll steam the salmon briefly wrapped in foil in with the veg. I still haven't gone through the fridge properly but think (hope) I've identified everything that needs using over the next couple of days. I did find a rather sad end of cucumber which just about walked to the food waste caddy:eek:.

I was tempted to get chips on the way home from the doctor, but I knew I had defrosting berries in the fridge so I had them with a yoghurt and another sandwich. I was really hungry today and I feel like I could still eat something else.:rotfl:
I worked out that I did 3 and a 1/2 hours of walking today, though. No wonder I'm ready for my hot bath now.
The cough is caused by another sinus and ear infection. I've had the same thing over and over for years now. Hopefully the antibiotics and nasal spray will work on it.I've run out of ketchup:(

Busy few days, I hope everyone is well.
I'm back on the healthy eating diet. So it was muesli for breakfast, a HM cheese salad for lunch & I'm about to do two poached eggs on toast, with a cup of tea.
All the weight I lost last year I seem to have put back on again (although some might be muscle mass).
Might be salad again for tomorrow's lunch. Depends if I cba to wash up the pots.....0 -

. Hope the medication kicks in soon
Temperature has definitely dropped here to Caronc although we are still frost free I did add a couple of degrees to the heating when I got home.
The whole office seemed to be coughing and sneezing today myself included I'm fine now so I'm hoping it was something in the atmosphere at work, the air conditioning was on too warm but I lost the battle to turn it down.
Lunch was HM chicken soup, which was needed after my walk lunchtime. Dinner was steak and kidney from the freezer with root veg mash, french beans and broccoli the steak and kidney was made from shin so a lovely favour and the added bonus of a dumpling which I forgot I had frozenLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin0 -
