I was going to make carrot and lentil soup, but I went out for a walk and it is quite humid here. I did buy bread from Coop so I had some with marg, some vegan smoked ham (that I don’t like much) and some tomatoes and gherkins.

Back to sunny weather here today, quite a change from yesterday afternoon when I went for a game of bowls and got absolutely soaked. After that some comfort eating was required so I had a generous portion of cauliflower cheese, new pots and peas followed by strawberries and yoghurt.

I met up with a friend for a cuppa and a cheese scone late morning so no lunch was required.

I did a quick shop in tesco before the bus home, I was on the lookout to see if they had those limited edition sausages that they had last summer but no joy. They did however have merchant gourmet pouches on clubcard price so picked up some spanish grains to have with my hot smoked salmon tonight.

Not a bad day here but was in the office so didn’t see much of it.

Second portion of the roast carrot feta, cranberry and pecan couscous for lunch. One of the steaks and half the chips from the co-op deal with grilled beefsteak tomato and peas tonight 😋

A volunteering day so naturally it was dry, it meant we were quite busy.

Bulgar wheat salad for lunch with salmon, roasted beetroot and roasted radishes and marinated and a few other salad bits. Followed by a large bowl of berries.

I didn't fancy LO Korean chicken for dinner so just did some scrambled egg on toast
