Late to the party today for no particular reason other than catching up on chores.

Lunch was l/o salad with cold ham.

Tonight I'm using up the last of the chicken & mushrooms in a very easy pasta dish. It's not often I have dessert but I couldn't resist strawberries and greek yoghurt to follow.

Very rainy most of today but didn’t need to go far.

Spinach and ricotta tortellini with the end of the caper and lemon dressing, tuna, sweetcorn and sun dried tomatoes for lunch. Prawn saganaki tonight with tenderstem broccoli and chunk of crusty bread 😋

I had a small win on the PB which will pay for the guttering clearing when he invoices.

It rained until about late afternoon today, I had promised to take EF to the Waitrose cafe and she wasn't put off, I got wet faffing trying to get her and her wheelchair in and out of my car. We had a cuppa and a potter around the store. She complained I never took her out but usually there are a list of things she wants doing 🙄

Food was a repeat of yesterday, Cornish yarg cheese with crackers and tomatoes for lunch. Vegetable and lentil chilli and rice for dinner, it has matured nicely in the fridge

Still raining of & on, windy as well. A day for looking out and not being out

Glad EF go out Brambling, she may moan but I expect she was pleased just to be out and a change of faces.

Lunch, TBD, but JKS Spinach and ricotta tortellini has me thinking. I have a YS RM from yesterday, so could be an easy option

Dinner, grilled pork chop, use up just OOD tin of "new" potatoes + salad

    Good morning everyone,

I'm sure EF enjoyed going out Brambling despite the moaning!

We had a terrific thunder storm here yesterday afternoon which lasted a good couple of hours - Hector was under impressed! It's a rinse and repeat forecast wise so apart from a bin trip between showers I'm not planning on stepping off the deck. Cooked a chicken breast and veg wrapped in foil in the AF along with veg "chips" (carrot, courgette and sweet potato) so LOs of that with added salad for lunch. Back on the lentils tonight lol with HB cod with chorizo and lentils Roast Cod with Lentils - Recipes - Hairy Bikers . Our meal planning clearly went a bit awry this week on the pulse front but we both really like lentils so not a hardship. 😂

Sunshine and showers here today, is quite nice now but was really breezy when I went for a walk at lunchtime.

Busy work day but have also done a couple of bits of life admin 🙃

Posh fishfinger sandwich for lunch (with gherkins and rocket in a pitta today). Used the other half of the YS duck strips in a Thai red curry with baby corn and sugar snap peas tonight, served with noodles 😋

    more showers than sunshine here.

I needed a couple of things in The Range, I picked up a couple of door mats for inside at half price whilst there,I didn't realise until paying 😁 once home I decided to leave them until work is done.

Tesco is next to them so I popped in for a few bits of fresh stuff, I had a 20% off voucher for berries and picked some up YS so a win win situation. The hail storm caugh5 me as I left the store and headed back to the car.

Small portion of chili no rice for l7nch the last of it has now been frozen.

Korean chicken poke bowl with raw vegetables and some pickled cucumber and red onion for dinner, there are L.Os for tomorrow

It was pouring here yesterday. I am going out for a walk on Sunday, but that should be dry. I had a yoghurt and I'm going to make a smoothie. I have a mountain of carrots so I will do something with them today!

    Good morning everyone,

Decidedly chilly here with torrential showers though they are less frequent than yesterday. I have a lunchtime meeting and then late afternoon we are off to Glasgow for DS1's birthday. Looking forward to baby cuddles and a Lebanese takeaway. Fridge gravel for lunch.
