    Good morning everyone,

Overcast but dry and a respectable 17C here. The garden will beckon for a bit this afternoon.

Slightly revised last night's dinner plan and used the rotisserie chicken to make a "fakeaway". I don't know if it's a UK wide thing or just here in the West of Scotland and Northern Ireland but a popular Chinese takeaway side is a half portion each of chips and rice topped with either gravy or curry sauce. My version involved spicy cauliflower rice with peas, AF Jersey Royals and carrot chips and Mayflower curry sauce, we had some salad too. It's was blooming gorgeous and there's loads of chicken and some cauli rice LO so that will be the basis of today's meals as I'm CFOing. Didn't get the vac packing done yesterday so that's on today's to do along with portioning and packing two of these that DS2 picked up yesterday in Morrisons Morrisons British BBQ Bundle 1.8kg - Morrisons Online Groceries & Offers. I'm going to marinate some of the steak to make Korean style kebabs for tomorrow, The rest we'll use up as and when but they are cracking value.

It is very hot here. I'm dreading going into London on Tuesday as it is meant to be 33!

I'm not cooking either Farway. I'm having a smoothie and then making up a chickpea salad to eat over the next couple of days. I'm might make some toast to go with it.

I'm not sure about dinner yet. I will see how hot I am when I get home tonight.

Been a long time since I’ve had chipper chips and curry sauce Caronc, great comfort food and a favourite hangover cure in my youth 😉

Cloudy start to the day but turned out glorious this afternoon, temp is a comfortable 20c.

For lunch I had a delicious tomato and basil salad with the IofW toms from m&s, I added some turkey meatballs and rocket.

Dinner is thai green curry with king prawns and ss peas.

I went in yesterday for one of those packs (about mid-afternoon) but they'd sold out (permanently) which was annoying. I knew they'd be in demand, but it would have been nice for Morrisons to allocate a bit more stock, to last the 3 days.

The moggo’s offer does look good, I couldn’t get tuna steaks yesterday and the salad had been ransacked. Plenty of charcoal and beer though 😂

Been a lovely day here. Two loads of washing dried on the line. Out for a swim late morning but other than that I’ve enjoyed the sunshine and the tennis 🎾

Tuna melt wrap with salad for lunch. Salmon Niçoise salad tonight (salmon cooked on the bbq).

The house stayed pleasant so we’ll see how it is in tomorrow’s extreme heat 🥵

I think with the weather here not being as good in other bits of the UK our local Morrison's still had a full cabinet full when DS2 went by later yesterday afternoon which is why he bought two. We are supposed to be sunny tomorrow but not above mid teens until mid-week. Annoying not get one, we will get many meals out of ours.

other than hanging three loads of washing I avoided going out side today, far too hot for me.

Ocardo gave me a £20 voucher so a salad heavy delivery today, the pork fillet may be frozen if the temp doesn't drop! Unfortunately a bottle of washing up liquid was opened and half of it emptied into the bag, luckily just tins and bottles but a PITA to sort and I slid gracefully across the floor thanks to it dripping out the bag. I've let them know so I'm assuming it will be sorted.

I boiled some eggs late last night so egg and cress salad for lunch.

I had to cook the two filleted chicken thighs, just a simple AF fried chicken and I didn't linger in the kitchen I had with more salad and dom3 coleslaw

Expecting a proper scorcher today, out watering at 9 this morning and even then the sun was burning, any one in the open will be fried

Another no cook day, ran out of cucumber so I've made carrot / celery coleslaw thingy for later

Plus, my milk has gone off, sniffed OK but instant curdle when it went in my tea, to be fair it was past BBE date of 19th 😮Luckily Asda delivery Wednesday, and I have a UHT pint just for such an occasion

    Fresh loaf made in BM

Lunch, push the boat out, tinned corned beef & sliced onion sandwich

Dinner, more of the tinned corned beef, plus LO boiled new spuds "chipped" in AF, with salad & HM 'slaw

I have a meal out today. I am luckily getting a lift there and back as it is very hot!

I have had a slice of toast as I felt hungry, but I'm eating soon.
