I had a yoghurt before my pedicure. Now I’m in a cafe having tofu scramble on toast and an apple juice.

    Good afternoon everyone,

And the rain came tumbling down….. May is often the best month here but not this year! I'm very glad there is nowhere I need to go today. My bedding plants arrive next week, they are garden ready ones but I think they may need to lurk on the deck for a bit as the wind and rain are still really cold.

Domestic bits and a bit of general decluttering/tidying on the agenda today. LOs/fridge gravel for lunch. Thai green cod and veg curry with rice/cauli rice for dinner.

weather is picking up today although I'm not looking forward to the threat of 30c on Monday, 8 May change some plans if it's too hot.

Drove out to visit EF this afternoon I think I was being punished for not going at weekend as she asked me to order a couple of non urgent things on Amazon last week and I told her Friday I had them and would bring them in today and she worked out how to amend her address on amazon and ordered it as well, told me 'oh sorry I forgot you're have to send them back!' I'm not convinced it was forgotten.

Fish finger sandwich for lunch with tartare sauce.

I resisted the gin when I got home and had a nice long chat with my neighbour before watering the green house. Dinner was pork chop cooked in cider with apple (Normandy pork?) mashed potato, peas, carrots and red cabbage from the freezer 😋

Sun has arrived after dull start, bit breezy but warm enough, with the good weather arriving I'm planting out my courgettes & tomatoes later, if my back is willing, I lugged a bag of compost home from Morries yesterday and my back knows it today.

    Lunch, salad sarnie

Dinner, the posh on offer rump steak I nearly had mid week, with salad bits

    Good morning everyone,

Showery and very overcast here, hopefully the last damp day for a few days though we are missing the forecasted BH heat wave. I'm not complaining but it would be nice if we could get some sunshine and a bit of warmth. Next Wednesday is forecast to be our warmest day so far at 23C which is at the top of the heat I like.

Apart from the routine chores and a Tesco delivery I've decided to have a bit of an over due personal care day and have a home facial etc. and another run through my wardrobe. Lunch will be LO curry and tonight it's pork mince taco bowls.

It is meant to be quite a nice day. This weekend is meant to be very warm. I have two outdoor events, but luckily they are later in the afternoon. I have had some strawberries and a yoghurt. I'm going to have some toast before I leave for my reflexology session.

Woke up late this morning, which always throws me out for the rest of the day! It has then been a crazy work day so I forced myself out for a swim.

It’s strangely mild but overcast here.

Beans with toast for lunch. Just about to make Thai red curry with LO roast chicken, broccoli and sweetcorn, will serve with noodles 😋

A hot day, Iuckily I remembered after a hour to put sun screen on my face whilst gardening.

spent the morning gardening in the back then tried the new lawn mower before his lordship asked for a machete, I didn't quite make no mow May. Tidied one of my outside sheds (used to be coal shed) and managed to fit it in there.

Lunch was Brie, biscuits and grapes sitting in the garden.

I cooked a small boned joint of lamb (from the leg I deboned) AF with ras el hanout. Too hot for roast so did jersey royals, tenderstem broccoli and AF asparagus

Sun out & warming up already, at last I can have windows open and cast a clout or two 😁

I've already watered the front pots before it gets too hot for me, just minor pottering left now

Lunch, hardly the right weather, but LO HM Chilli

Dinner, YS MFO Chicken Korma, again not a best choice for the weather, but it's eat it or freeze it

    Good morning everyone,

Dry and mild here but very dull. It's not supposed to rain but I'm not convinced.

Waiting for DS1 to drop Frank off for a few days, we'll take him back on Tuesday evening. Off out late afternoon to meet friends for a cuppa and a catch up. LOs for lunch, dinner is tbc.
