Farway - I had a craving for HM chilli yesterday, but thought it was totally the wrong weather.
I have had a green smoothie and toast and a yoghurt. I need to see what needs using up today from the freezer. I'm going out to the shop, but that is it as it feels very warm.

Lovely day here and got really warm during the afternoon, load of washing dried quickly on the line 😀
I had what caronc would call fridge gravel salad for lunch with a part baked olive ciabatta roll. Old favourite of sausage and spinach gnocchi tonight.
Looking forward to a sunny long weekend 🌞

Tee shirt weather by the time I got to volunteering at 9am, of course I remembered as I was parking that I hadn't opened the greenhouse and I didn't think just the window would be enough. Luckily my sister doesn't work Friday and popped home for me 🙂 she's after my tomatoes later and my seedlings now!
Volunteering was surprisingly busy, usually when the weather is nice it's quiet.
I made a bulgar wheat tabbouleh with loads of fresh herbs, feta, flageolet beans, pomegranate seeds and some LO lamb for lunch it was very tasty 😋 and some left for lunch tomorrow.
I had a small salmon quiche in the freezer so dinner was quiche, salad, coleslaw and LO new potatoes flattened and AF to make crispy chips.

I ordered pizza and garlic dough balls last night!😋
My dog is being picked up and we are going out later today. I was going to go out for a meal in London, but I cancelled as i don't want to travel far in the heat.
I have had a yoghurt and I'm about to have a smoothie as I just got the raspberries out of the freezer. I will have some toast for breakfast.
I took a lentil lasagne out of the freezer to defrost and I will have that with whatever veg I have for lunch. I might get some chips or something later while I'm out.

Another hot day building up, it was a bit uncomfortable last night trying to sleep, so got up a daft o'clock and watering pots already
Need to finalise my Asda shoping list, the Olive oil i wanted is out of stock so may skip that unless an obvious alternative shows up
Lunch, has to be last of the HM chilli regardless of weather
Dinner, more suited to the weather, defrosting now & will fry salmon fillet, new spuds & salad bits

Good morning everyone,
Sunny here but at 14C not exactly sunbathing weather! It did rain yesterday but I managed to just avoid getting soaked, it started just after my friends picked me up and was only spitting when we got to the town we were heading to. I had a lovely catch up and enjoyed half of a very tasty, ginormous sultana scone with rhubarb and ginger jam.
Today I need vac pack chicken and cod from Costco which DS1 dropped off yesterday. DS2 is going to rotisserie a chook so dinner will be some of that with salad and Jersey Royals.

Midweek was a bit hectic and tiring so I’ve been chilling out a bit and mostly eating conveniently and “junk” that I wasn't going to admit to on here ☺️
Back to normal now and I managed a quick YS mooch in m&s this morning but very little caught my fancy although I did find some Isle of Wight Tiger Toms and some purple sprouting broccoli that were reduced.
Lunch was a quick snack on the go and for dinner I have a chicken breast defrosting and there’s a couple of heels of the loaf that need using so I’ll blitz them and do some chicken goujons with steamed broccoli & ss peas.

Bedding washed and on the line before I left for Petworth this morning. I wasn't popular at home as I let his lordship out the front door and forgot to unlock his cat flap or put his breakfast down, it was just as well I was hanging washing out as I had ignored him banging on it thinking it was next door change of routine wanting to get the washing on 🙀
It was hot all day, just as well there are thick walls in the bookshop. The car was unbearable when I got back to it, it was 30c at 5pm when I popped into Lidl for ice cream, they were sold out 😕
Lunch was the same as yesterday tabbouleh with feta and LO lamb. My chicken thighs hadn't defrosted in the fridge so I had the last of LO lunch for a late dinner as I wasn't that hungry

Think I fell asleep without posting last night. Was a pleasantly warm and sunny day, nice to have the back door open while pottering at domestic chores. Also sat out with my book for a bit. Food shop was lots of salad and fruit!
Tomatoes on toast for lunch and sort of pork stroganoff with noodles and green beans for tea. Salad will feature today 🥗
