Good morning everyone,
I originally had my deliveries from Asda but over time there was a noticeable drop in quality and increased number of OOS and not subbed items. I think it reflected the store it came from rather than Asda as such as it isn't one of their better shops. Switched to Tesco and been pretty happy with them. Before DS2 returned I'd get an odd Asda delivery of household/cleaning stuff and sometimes one from Sainsbury's fore bits Tesco doesn't carry.
Dry but overcast and forecast to be showery and it's still only 9C so not warm. DS2 is off clothes shopping for a couple of days out he has coming up so I'm pooch sitting. I have a couple of large packs of chicken breast to portion up and vac pack at some point either today or tomorrow and couple of admin tasks to tackle but apart from that it will a pottering day. Tuna and egg salad for lunch and HM pork burgers with salad and AF Jersey Royals for dinner.

I have had a banana and apple with a yoghurt and then I had avocado and tomato salad before l left. I’m here really early for my class so I’m just waiting outside at a picnic table. It is very nice weather here.

Somewhat overcast today and we still have a chilly wind blowing. I took a quick trip to tesco, I needed some baking supplies to do a home bake as I’m on the tea rota at the bowling on Tuesday.
I also picked up a MM pork pie to have for lunch with some salad, pickles and chutney.
Something from the freezer for dinner tonight, I’m hoping it's liver casserole but could be roast beef in gravy, they are both brown and lumpy with chunks of carrot and swede in there.

volunteering at Petworth today, quiet morning which got busy this afternoon, ther is a antique fair this weekend.
My sister and I went to see undyed tonight, my ticket was my birthday present. It was in the next town, our theatre is closed for refurbishment this year and we aren't very big with listed building restrictions. We both really enjoyed it.
Salmon with noodles in a peanut butter dressing for lunch.
Quick dinner as I didn't have much time, quiche from the freezer with salad and new potatoes

I have a class today so I just had a banana and a yoghurt before I'm leaving. I have some asparagus so I will have that for dinner or lunch today. I did buy some plant based chicken tenders so I will have it with that and maybe some fries.

Dull with a cold wind, a big contrast from yesterday
Lunch, cheese & sliced onion sandwich
Dinner, TBD, not really salad weather so a scramble in the freezer for something warming

Good afternoon everyone,
Sunny and dry here but still chilly. Really need to brave cold hands and pot on various seedlings will we are rain free. DS2 is just trying out his rotisserie with a whole chook that has been dry brined with salt and Baharat overnight so hoping for some tasty chicken for dinner and we can have the planned fish pie soup from the freezer another time. Bacon and eggs with mushrooms and tomatoes for brunch.

I think the rain brought down pollen as I woke definitely feeling like I had hay fever and a hangover without the pleasure of a drink! Local 10km was running pass my house late morning so between the two I stayed home until just after noon when we were down to the stragglers.
Went tothe garden centre lunchtime so she could get some ideas for some summer planting, we didn't spend anything we went back to hers for a sandwich and I put off visiting EF, I was already dealing with a headache!
I had some LO rice in the fridge so made a quick egg fried rice with veg for dinner

Very cold wind this morning, not May weather at all
Lunch, TBD, I have new window cleaner due about then, along with forecast rain, so lunch will be some quick sandwich once WC has been sorted & paid
Dinner, LO ham hock, with nuked LO mash and frozen mixed veg. Leaving me an empty fridge for tomorrow's Waitrose delivery

It got really cold yesterday. My husband had turned on the heating when I got home. It feels a bit chilly today so I’m taking my jacket with me for one of my increasingly tedious classes. 🤪🤣I had a banana and a yoghurt but I’m eating at a cafe for lunch.
