Haha, funny about the cards!
It was cold yesterday. I needed my scarf in the cinema. I had a really nice lunch out, guac and tortilla chips, Patatas Bravas and a mango cheesecake with berries.
I just had a slice of bread with Flora and two nectarines. I have a massage and I might have a bowl of cereal before I leave.

Good morning everyone,
Belated Happy Birthday Brambling lol re the card and how lovely to get birthday baby cuddles.
Bath time with DGD was just wonderful. She loves her bath but hasn't quite learnt how to splash yet so I wasn't too soggy. It was lovely to get the chance to do it will she is still relatively new. Our takeaway was delicious, it was from a small restaurant near them with a very small menu. I much prefer places that offer a few things done well than a massive choice of variations of the same thing IFYSWIM. We shared veg pakora and naan and I had the tandoori chicken tikka plate which was gorgeous. Perfectly spiced, moist chicken with a herby dip and a bitter leaves side salad. So simple but so tasty.
Forecast to be showery here though dry so far. Still really quite chilly.
Domestics and admin to be done today. Either cottage cheese or tuna salad for lunch as I've run out of HM soup. Trying this for dinner though without the bean sprouts and with HM cauliflower rice. Chinese plum pork stir-fry | Tesco Real Food

Cooler with sunny intervals here, I had a nice walk in the early morning sunshine and my plumbing issue is all sorted, just the bill to deal with now.
Lunch was a crisp and salad sandwich.
I found two chunky fish fingers in my freezer search, so I’ll have them tonight with some sweet potato wedges and more salady bits.

I thought it was going to rain today as it got very dark on and off all morning so I held off on washing towels, oh well they can wait.
I voted first thing it's local council elections here and then I was in the garden and greenhouse until nearly 2pm when I realised I had missed lunch.
Late lunch of cheese and crackers with a apple before a little shut eye 😴
Crispy ginger beef mince with sticky rice and broccoli for dinner.

Raining, but more like a passing shower than proper stuff, wet the pavement type, not make deep puddles
Compiling a Waitrose delivery for next week, used before and I do like their stuff, with a broader choice, at a price of course. I've also had the Ocado offer through, free delivery & £?? off for first few shops, busy looking at the items, again at a price and with M & S as well.
Lunch, ideal for a tin of soup, I have some for just such damp & dull weather
Dinner, posh sirloin steak, on offer, with jacket spud & salad bits

I have a class today, one on Saturday and one on Sunday! I just had a slice of bread with Flora. My class today is this afternoon so I will have lunch before I leave. It is meant to be nice weather here today.

Good morning everyone,
I'm never sure if it's a blessing disguise that Ocado don't deliver to this area!
Dry but overcast and still chilly. Looks as though we are to be rain free for a couple of days so DS2 is hoping to play with his new "toy" a rotisserie attachment for his new gas grill. A chook is on the grocery order and I can see a lot of chicken based meals over coming days!
The pork and plum recipe I tried last night was really very good. I made the full amount of meat/sauce/veg but like a lot of the Tesco serves 4 recipes it seem to be aimed at 2 adults and 2 children rather than 4 adult portions so only portion LO which DS2 or I will have lunch. If he has it I'll have tuna and egg salad instead. Usual Friday tbc, DS2 will do his own thing as usual and I'll no doubt have an oven bung in of some description.

Same here Caronc re deliveries although I think Farway is right to try others, I’ve never used @sda for online deliveries but tba I’ve been sadly disappointed with my shopping experience instore over the past couple of years.
Finally had time to sort things out with a communications company and will be saving myself £20 per month on phone & broadband 😀
Lunch was a cheese and pickle sandwich.
The curry sauce I used a couple of days ago was delicious but very spicy and brought me out in eye sweats and numbed lips. I’ve frozen the rest of the jar in smaller portions and will remember to add coconut milk next time. There’s a dessertspoonful left in the jar which I’ll use up tonight in a king prawn, peppers & noodle stir fry.

I stopped online shopping after I had recovered from my op but Ocardos 25% off free delivery did lure me back in 😁 tbh I don't mind doing a shop I tend to wander between the ones in town, we don't have a 'big' Morrison in about 20 miles and Asda is in the next town.
Volunteering today and we were busy after two really quiet Fridays, at least the day goes quickly.
Salmon and rice salad for lunch, I overcooked the salmon last night by leaving in the ninja whilst I finished cooking dinner so it carrying on cooking in the heat of the machine so it was a little dry 🙄
LO sticky ginger beef mince for dinner with rice so I'm all diced out after eating it twice in three meals

Sunny with a breeze, probably a nice day for walking along the prom etc.
Nearly sorted the Waitrose on line order out,but keep changing my mind with last minute items & offers. Now I've forgotten eggs, too many choices sometimes !
Lunch, cheese & sliced onion sandwich
Dinner, ready cooked, just needs heating through, slow cooked Ham Hock, mash, carrots, mixed veg
