It was a lovely day yesterday. I cancelled my plans for the weekend and I'm just staying in and resting as I feel quite tired lately. It is a lovely day again and I got up early. I have been pottering around tidying up and rearranging a few things.
I had a quick sandwich and a hot drink. I have the garden doors open, but it still feels slightly chilly inside my house.

Lovely sunny morning again but showers heading our way around lunchtime so I’m heading out for my walk in a few minutes.
Salad for lunch with some cottage cheese, watermelon and pomegranate.
I got some nice plump chicken thighs in my sm delivery last week, two are defrosting at the moment hoping to get them in the SC soon and I’ll use some of the cooked meat in a risotto with leeks and broad beans for dinner tonight.

Good morning everyone,
Grey, wet and chilly here this morning. DS2's nice new bbq grill will staying under it's cover! DS1, DIL and DGD are arriving soon to collect Frank and are bringing deli bits for lunch so I just need to prep some salad. Hopefully DGD will be back to being all smiles after being under the weather last Sunday.
Rinse and repeat of the tofu "bacon" bagels I made a few weeks ago for dinner using up the other half of the tofu and the rest of the chickpea patties. Instead of the potato rosti/hash browns I'm going have wee go at turning LO cauli rice into fritters.

MIA for a few days due to sickness bug 😕 so no cooking/eating then very plain cooking/eating but back to normal today. Another lovely sunny day so towels out on the line. Also ran the dishwasher and did a bit of putting things away but mostly an easy day after a long, strange week. Walked into town this afternoon to run some errands and found the exact pumps I wanted just on the off chance in the last shop I went in on the way home 🙃
Posh fishfinger sandwich for lunch. Creamy tomato and anchovy pasta tonight with green salad in balsamic dressing.

glad you're feeling better JKS
Petworth day for me as I swapped last week for the other Saturday volunteer. Very quiet all day, it was nice weather until I got back to my car at 4pm I just avoided a soaking walking back to the car park.
Small PB win this month 🙂
Lunch a repeat of lentil salad but with seafood sticks not prawns.
Chicken wings, coleslaw, sweetcorn and wedges for dinner

Up early at just after five, I was at the in between stage of not being able to drop off and dawn just breaking, so gave up & got up.
At least I've stripped the bed so something productive came of it
Dull day, rain has stopped and the garden looks better after the rain
Lunch, salad sarnie
Dinner, rinse & repeat. Grill last pork chop, nuked LO mash, fresh Easter offer carrots, parsnips + YS broccoli

Glad you feel better after the stomach bug.
I just had a yoghurt and some sparkling water with lemon. I am using up the end of the marmalade on toasted English muffins after my shower.
I am not sure about lunch and dinner yet.

Good morning everyone,
Glad you have recovered JKS, sickness bugs are so dire.
Had a lovely lunch with the kids and lots of baby cuddles yesterday. Rather than deli bits they brought beautiful pizza slices from a restaurant near them. Possibly some of the best pizza I've had and good value at £4 per huge slice - 4 served 5 of us generously for lunch with LOs for them to take home.
Rain forecast but it's held off so far though looking at the sky not for long. I need to sort out my monthly and shuffle some pots but apart from that I've no plans. Only toasted half a bagel for my meal last night so lunch will be the other half topped with scrambled egg, mushrooms and spinach. Soup tonight - chicken, veg and lentil from the freezer.

Glad you are feeling better JKS.
Rain overnight and a bit grey and overcast today. A lazy day for me although I need to check some paperwork and prepare for getting into a discussion with a large company this week.
I was quite generous with my handfuls last night so there’s a good helping of risotto leftover for lunch today and tonight I’m having the local butchers pork and apple sausages with the last of the jersey royals.
