    Good morning everyone,

Bright and milder here today. I had a lovely time with friends and the soup and sandwich combo I had for lunch was very tasty. Today I have a stack of voluntary admin to work through, need to finalise my Tesco order and catch up on some chores. Lunch will be fridge bits and tonight it's chicken and potsticker dumpling ramen. The dumplings and broth are ready made so just the other bits to sort out later.

I went for a lovely walk in the sunshine this morning but there’s still a chilly breeze coming off the sea.

Yellow split pea soup for lunch and a few portions to stock up the freezer.

Tonight I’m making a chorizo, mixed peppers and spinach frittata.

Back to a nice day again

just some at home pottering for me, I had to complete a online financial assessment for EF from the local authority hopefully that means we are moving forward up the queue! I spoke to her as well to keep her up to date and she's not happy as the homes lift hasn't worked since Saturday they are waiting for parts. They managed to get those that needed to go back upstairs and there are small lounges in each floor but it gives her something to complain about 🙄 even when she can go downstairs she spends very little time there going back to her room everyday after lunch at 1pm and watching TV on her own so time must drag for her so little issues become big issues and she gets confused about what day it is.

I finished the smoke mackerel pate with toast for lunch. Salmon, asparagus, new potatoes and broccoli for dinner

    Good morning everyone,

It was a chilly start but it's lovely sunny day and if anything like yesterday will feel quite warm this afternoon before heading back towards 0C tonight. Apart from Tesco arriving later it's a bit of a rinse and repeat day of admin and chores on the cards but I'm to try and get outdoors for a bit this afternoon and top up my Vit D.

LOs & fridge gravel for lunch, dinner will be the usual Friday tbc.

Another sunny day with a cold wind, usually warms up by PM, at least everywhere is now green & growing

lunch, BLT, be tastier than usual, my "free" Marks posh loaf, plus YS Marks streaky

Dinner, defrosting a late 2025 YS Marks lamb moussaka, trying to use some of the long lost items I stuffed away over the past year or so

Very foggy this morning although it cleared up after lunchtime, it was pretty thick when I went for my walk so I changed my route and stayed away from the beach.

Lunch was leftover frittata with salad and pickles. Tonight is a bit carb heavy but it’s what I fancied - baked potato, cauliflower cheese, ss peas

Yes, cold and foggy start here but turned into another lovely sunny day. In the office today so had a short walk at lunchtime and treated myself to a hot honey chicken sandwich 😋

Easy tea of reheated LO jambalaya with some freshly cooked tenderstem, and the end of the 🍷

    Happy weekend!

lovely day here I managed to pop out lunchtime from the volunteering office and really didn't want to go back, tbh it was so quiet I wasn't really needed.

I was given five cherry tomato plants today, one took a battering in the bag on the way home but hopefully it will recover, not sure what kind other than cherry

    Chicken salad for lunch.

LO salmon with new potatoes and salad
