Brambling - I fell over and sprained my wrist when I first rescued my two dogs. My friend fell and broke her ankle with her rescue dog. She was on crutches for ages.

It feels like I haven't been on here in ages. I just had a raspberry, banana and oat milk smoothie. I am going to have some toast in a minute and I'm going to have a cereal bar I bought on offer.I might have the leftover restaurant pizza from the freezer with salad tonight.

    Good morning everyone,

I often find at least one pooch underfoot…….

Dry and bright here and although still chilly it feels a tad warmer.

Off out for leisurely lunch at a local venue that overlooks the marina so hoping we get a window table. The menu is a bit heavy on the deep fried stuff which I'm not a huge fan of so I might just go with the soup/sandwich or pate option. I've cod loin defrosting for tonight to have with couscous and salad.

Ooh. I have some tropical fruits in the freezer so will make a smoothie when I get home with oat milk.

Late arrival today, out earlier in Home B & Marks.

Marks was bread & YS browsing, jackpot on a YS loaf 😀Then double jackpot because it scanned at full price, so as goodwill gesture, had it for free, nowt, nuffin' 😁Plus some other YS items, bacon & brie. All set for food until next week's delivery, which so far remains at £40 min spend, how long that will last is anyone's guess of course, if I were fitter I'd shop myself, but it's the heavy / bulky items that prevent me

Sunny & warm out of of the breeze.

Lunch, sausage sarnie, Marks posh ones, using some YS free loaf

Dinner, More posh Marks bangers, use up eggs & frozen chips

Another chilly start this morning but warming up now that the sun is shining.

My washing machine was a bit pongy, I’ve tried soda crystals, vinegar, and I always dry the rubber seal but it was still a bit wiffy so I thought I would try some machine cleaner to see if that works. It seems to be better now but I’ll reserve judgment until I do the washing tomorrow.

    Lunch was leftover pilaf.

I’m also going down the fishy route tonight with smoked haddock, lentils and spinach.

Another sunny day and the temperature is creeping up each day. Slightly calmer work day and I’ve made sure to take breaks and get outside so that also helped. M&S at lunchtime for eggs, some of which were scrambled and served with mushrooms on a toasted bagel for lunch.

Bit of planting up of the bits I got at the weekend after work plus some tidying and topping up compost in the pots. Came in and made chicken and chorizo jambalaya with green beans for tea.

It’s already been a very long week so had a cheeky 🍷

This sister between her 30s and 60s has broken both legs and a arm all very badly and with some style, without the help of a animal 🫣 with her dogs she just broke thumbs and fingers whilst walking them (she had them separate times) and tripping over them or being pulled over, now she's nearly 80 we tease her that she's having falls rather than falling over! Unfortunately my BIL isn't so steady on his feet due to his cancer treatments. I 'joked' that I don't want a dog until it's well trained and house broken and cat trained! TBH they are both besotted by her already and it will take a lot for them to admit they can't cope with it, they just need to get over the puppy stage!

Farway I'm lucky now my hip is fixed that I can go to SMs, I recently got a 'we've missed you' email from ocardo offering I think 20% off if I spent more than £70 (excluding alcohol and household items) but it had to be used within about five days, I did start a shop but decided I would be adding things for the sake of it and not because I needed them and I had just done a SM shop.

Lazy day at home my hands are playing up today for some reason stiff and achy I'm not sure why as it's not raining or cold out so I put off the gardening I was planning to do hopefully tomorrow they will be better as I need to do stuff in the greenhouse.

Smoked mackerel pate with toast and salad for lunch. LO sticky Thai chicken with tenderstem broccoli and rice for dinner.
