Drizzly rain and overcast, despite that I decided because my new phone has a step counter and I have a lovely waterproof parka and waterproof trainers I’m going to make a concerted effort to increase my fitness and step count regardless of the weather.

Lunch is a wholemeal roll with tuna and cucumber.

I picked the lamb joint clean this morning, it was a nice meaty one this time. Some I’ve stashed in the freezer and I have a portion ready for tonight. For last night’s ??? side dish I did some boulangere potatoes and made enough for tonight too, there’s some ss peas to use up as well.

    Good afternoon everyone,
I'm late on parade today as I met a friend for lunch at local coffee shop. I'm out again tomorrow and the next day too which is pretty unheard of these days. Doubt the scales will be in my favour this week but the socialising is good for my menta wellbeing if not my waistline and bank balance. Lunch was a rather tasty spicy chicken salad bowl which had a nice variety of side bits on it. Folded omelette, bbq sauce, rice and steamed veg for dinner.

Dry and overcast most of the day and a bit chilly when I ran an errand at lunchtime, sun came out late morning then a light shower just as I got back from swimming, washing only got a tiny bit damp 🙃

Rinse and repeat lunch of smoked mackerel pitta pizza, coleslaw and salad. More salad and coleslaw tonight, with warm new potatoes and a piece of cooked salmon from the freezer. Might finish the Easter egg with a cuppa in a bit 😉

Definitely cooler her today, deceptive when in doors as it seemed warmer.

You're becoming a gadabout Caronc which as you say is good for your MH.

Lazy morning for me then I popped around to EFs flat with a list, unfortunately I turned the flat upside down but couldn't find her sun glasses so as requested I brought her a pair in M&S on line. I'm sure they will now suddenly appear.

Just fruit and yogurt for lunch. Sticky Thai style chicken for dinner with tenderstem broccoli and sticky rice.

Another deceptive looking day, sunshine with a very cold wind, sunglasses & a warm coat required

Absolutely no ideas for food today, plenty of it, just needs sorting. Too cold for salad, a nice hot pie or comforting stew would be suitable, neither of which is handy right now

Lunch, tin of whatever soup I find lurking

Dinner, Looks like ready meal out of freezer, pot luck on what's to hand

Beautiful sunny morning here although there is still a chilly NE wind. I’ve got a SM delivery coming soon so I went out earlier for my walk. It’s about 8 weeks since my last online shop and I noticed the min spend is now up to £50, had to order a bottle of wine to get me to that figure 😁

Lunch is tuna leftover from yesterday, this time I’ll stuff it into a pitta with some cucumber and rocket.

More of the lamb tonight using up the smaller crumbly bits in a spicy pilaf with chopped dates and pomegranate.

    Good afternoon everyone,

Dry but overcast and chilly here. I had a lovely meet up with my friend this morning and was good a didn't succumb to a cake with my cuppa. Had a bowl of HM soup for lunch when I got back. Out again tomorrow and I suspect by tomorrow evening I may be a bit "peopled-out"!

CFO this evening and dinner will involve chicken but will decide later what to do with it.

Shame about the wine N2BT 😉

Another sunny but breezy day, towels dried on the line. Work was crazy, I don’t know what’s wrong with everyone!

Pesto butter bean, tomato and avocado salad for lunch, with the end of the coleslaw. Creamy sausage and leek pasta with tenderstem tonight.

Farway is still sharing his weather across the county line!

Dropped some of EF stuff to CS this morning. Although they won't accept cookery books I was trying to avoid taking them to Petworth. I have checked with a shop in town and they will take them.

After putting the world to rights I popped into town this afternoon for a couple of hours I needed to !!!!!! up EFs sunglasses and a delivery from Next. I parked in Sainsbury's so pick up some bits and bobs to cover the £10 to park including toiletries for EF.

Just catching up with masterchef the jury is outwith the new judges they seem to have been filmed a lot standing smiling and nodding.

Marmite on toast for lunch with a fried egg on top.

Decided to leave LO chicken for tomorrow dinner and picked up some YS prawns to make sweet n sour prawns with rice and stir fried peppers
