Good morning everyone,
Damp and grey here but slightly milder than yesterday. I'm off soon to meet a friend for lunch so hoping there isn't a repeat of yesterday's hail showers while I'm out. We are just going to a local cafe so lunch will probably be a sandwich or salad bowl. Taco bowls tonight inspired by a couple of Tesco recipes.

I had Italian for dinner tonight and I’m having it again tonight at a different place. I have two classes today. I have just had some grapes and some pistachios at the hotel.

Quite a chilly start today and a bit foggy but the sun burned it back quite quickly.
Like Farway I’m defrosting a piece of salmon for tonight. I noticed that farmfoods had frozen asparagus on offer so thought I would give it a go and have it air fried with the salmon and do some parsley sauce.
Lunch is another portion of soup from the freezer.

popped to Aldi for milk and some berries, their soft plastics bin only has a small opening and I've been collecting it (only because I kept forgetting to put in car) so I went next door to Waitrose but only to use their bigger bin.
Came home via EF flat to pick up a couple of items and check her post. SW team responded to my question about local authority paying for live in career, as I thought I have to wait until we are appointed someone to ask them but she did say it would probably require a third party to pay any top up fees and they would need to vetted to confirm they had the funds for several years. I'm managing expectations gradually.
I received the quote to plaster and paint my lounge and dining room today 🫣 they can't start until September which I knew but gives me time to finally sort the windows. It's going to be a spendy year but will be worth it 😳
Pear, walnut and blue cheese chicory salad for lunch. I found a small piece of rump whilst freezer diving which I had for dinner with LO new potatoes af to make chips and LO green veg

Damp & drizzly start, plus Asda delivery first thing
One non available [soft cheese] and one subbed marmalade, no problems with that. Once I had it all in the kitchen ready to put away it struck me just how little I had to show for my dosh, and with the forecast t will only get worse. Glad I decided to sow some peas & beans and will have fruit & some veg from the garden. Not self sufficient but it all helps
Lunch, salad sandwich
Dinner, grilled pork chop, salad bits + some AF chips

Good morning everyone,
The weather is still rubbish though the wintry showers have eased as bit it's still pretty miserable. Had a lovely, long catch up with my friend with lunch at one venue and coffee at another as the first place was really busy and we didn't want to table hog. For lunch I had a very tasty dish of avocado, poached eggs and feta on toast. The make-it-up-as-I-went-along taco bowls worked well for dinner and there's LOs for lunch. I was good and made a note of the ingredients I used so I can recreate at some point. Today I have list of chores I want to get done and we'll meal plan tonight but that's the extent of my plans. JO's gingery, garlicky black bean mince with rice and various veg for dinner.

Milder here today with sun this morning but the rain came in this afternoon and hasn’t stopped this evening. I’m tired so making me feel cold too.
Out and about at a different office today so took the other half of the sweet potato, cranberry, feta and pecan couscous in a lunchbox. Sausage and spinach gnocchi tonight.
