Yoghurt for breakfast, a bagel with cheese and light mayo for lunch and tortellini with some olive oil for third meal. I am obsessed with tortellini. They are reasonably good for you, inexpensive, and take five minutes to make.

Dull & cooler but no rain around, which is a bummer 'cos the pots the front of my house need some water soon

Brambling dinner was some of the ratatouille I made yesterday with bacon, not sure why but some of the courgette taste bitter but the rest I'm enjoying I had a quick search, seems problem with courgettes while growing, maybe cross pollinated or water stress. Cucurbitacin E poisoning, seems they are not all innocent & healthy. I hope your tum coped and no ill affects https://www.bhaf.org.uk/content/advice/gardening-advice-a-z/poisonous-courgette-warning

It’s been a dark, wet and windy morning here with a very stormy looking sea, although it is starting to brighten and dry up a bit now.

Last night’s curry was delicious and I did have a bit of a piggy portion so there’s a smaller than normal portion leftover which I’ll have with a couple of poppadoms for lunch.

Dinner tbc, I’ll see what I fancy after a bit of a rummage and tidy up of the freezer.

It has gone back to more chilly and dull weather here. I won't know how much it has cooled down until I go for a walk. I'm going to have my usual wholemeal toast with avocado and tomato today.

I might make jacket potatoes later with something from the freezer.

    Good morning everyone,

I had a bitter courgette recently too Brambling, first time I've had it with a SM bought one though did occasionally get it when I grew both them and squash plants. As Farway says it's a cross pollination issue.

Grey, cold and very windy here today. It's dry just now but there have been some verging on wintry showers. DIL's pal has just arrived from Athens and can't believe how cold it is!

No huge plans for today apart from another wardrobe cull, I'm now 3 clothes sizes smaller than I was this time last year so I need to get rid of some more bits either to my friend or charity shop with the odd bit for the clothes recycling container at the tip.

Made a huge chicken breast into tandoori style chicken last night and there's LOs for lunch which I'll have with some salad. Trying this tonight though tweaking the patties a bit and using dairy based rather than vegan cheese. Tofu 'Bacon' & Hash-Brown Breakfast Bagel | Vegan Recipes | Tesco Real Food I'll make carrot and swede chips to go with it.

Showers on and off today and a cold wind.

Volunteering from early afternoon so had brunch of avocado and scrambled eggs on toast before going out. Picked up a bargain roast in the bag chicken so had some of that tonight, with new potatoes, broccoli and baby corn.

Might have a bit of Easter egg with a cuppa 😋

I had forgotten about cross pollination Caronc/Farway now you mention it I've had it with home grown ones many years ago just not SM ones. They were carefully picked out tonight.

Volunteering at Petworth again today and it was busy due to the Spring Makers market. It looked like it was going to be rained on this morning but turn to blue skies by lunch even if cooler.

Lunch the same as yesterday as I enjoyed it. Noodles with a hummus sauce, raw veg and salad stuff with salmon,

Dinner also the same ratatouille (no courgette) and bacon I did add some rice

That is good on the weight loss Caronc.

I'm having some water at the moment. I have a class this morning. I was thinking I should book some personal trainer classes as I was supposed to be joining a gym back in January! I will have some toast before I go out.

I do remember you mentioned the weather was to be good on your special day a few days ago but then I forgot so better late than never, belated birthday wishes Farway 🎂

I’m using up odds and ends today = a piece of a crusty baguette, some pesto and a small piece of cheese to make a mini pizza.

Dinner will be the last piece of quiche from the freezer, the last of the salad bits and a few pickles.
