I hope the lurgy has gone again Farway.

I might try the tart as well, I've made similar but caramelised the onions this looks a lot less faffing, I think I also used goats cheese. Also earmarked it to try.

Another lovely day, I met my friend in Chichester and I regretted grabbing my jacket as I left. We did our usual move between eateries 😁 her husband joined us after lunch with their 11 month old golden retriever, he a really lovely natured dog she said he doesn't bark unless he is excited when they get home, he was certainly very laid back. Her son has his litter mate who still isn't completely house trained and is manic.

lunch out and just fruit when igot home

That tart’s going on my list too, I love beetroot and feta 😋

Another beautiful day here, chilly to start and at times out of the sun but the sun was glorious, got towels line dried.

LO chicken, new potatoes and peppers in a salad with some olives and tomatoes for lunch. More LO chicken with green beans and pesto with pasta tonight.

Beetroot seems very fashionable at the moment.

It has been such lovely weather here yesterday and today. It is weird how much nicer the world seems when the sun is out.

I have had some fruit and a hot drink. I got a takeaway last night so I'm not very hungry at the moment.

All set for a scorchio day here, starting right with sun & blue sky

The lurgy seems to have gone again, hooray fr that. Perhaps it comes & goes and is short-lived bursts?Anyway, feeling fine now, echoing Wednesday with the much nicer world with the sun out.

    Good morning everyone,

Spring seems to be hiding again after a lovely day yesterday it is back to rain and greyness. It's much cooler too!

DS2 picked up more sides of the SO salmon yesterday so we'll get that portioned and vac packed today. I also got a couple of pork loin joints to cut into steaks and diced pork. Does mean my freezers are very full again but salmon-wise we should be covered until the Christmas offers (hopefully) appear. I also need to process some of the cheap base into bags of soup mix but probably won't get that done today.

Cottage cheese and egg salad for lunch. Tonight it's Cajun salmon and roast veg tray bake with broccoli and crispy Cavolo Nero.

Doesn't feel too scorchio here but it’s pleasant enough out there when the sun is shining.

There was just enough roast beef to make a sandwich for lunch but I did need to bulk it out with some salad too.

Bit of an experiment for dinner tonight, because the turkey breast steak I picked up in m&s is quite thin I thought I would spread one with some pesto, then a layer of sun dried tomatoes and peppers, roll it up swiss roll style, wrap in bacon then roast it, in my minds eye it should work but I’ll let you know tomorrow 😊

Another lovely day here according to the car it was 25c at 4pm. I did an extra volunteering day at Petworth as it's school holidays and their Spring festival. Not as busy in the shop as expected I'm sure people were enjoying the outside somewhere.

I popped into Tesco on the way home as I drive past it, just a few fresh bits unfortunately the only Easter offer they had left was a pork crackling joint the had two and I pick up the smallest.

I picked up a pack of YS corned beef in M&S yesterday it seems only three slices now days but it was only 80p. Corned beef and mustard roll for lunch.

Bacon, egg, mushrooms and toast for a easy dinner

Bright and sunny all day but a bit fresh first thing, did then get very warm around lunchtime.

Out and about this afternoon so picked up an M&S superfood salad for lunch. End of the LO chicken plus the LO roast onions turned into fajitas with some red and yellow peppers tonight 😋

I went to the beach yesterday and ended up getting a bit sunburned despite me putting on sun protection.

I have a facial booked for today. It looks like another nice day here.

I'm going to have a smoothie before I leave. I ended up getting another takeaway last night so I'm going to make sure I make homemade food for the rest of today. I'm going to see what needs using up.

    Good afternoon everyone,

Damp, grey a blooming chilly here today and supposed to dip down to near freezing tonight, I'm fed up of winter now!

I was a sleepy head this morning and didn't surface until after 10am. I wasn't that late going to bed so must of needed the extra rest. I've no fixed plans for today apart from usual chores and vac packing more salmon so the late start won't matter.

LO roast veg with eggs and spinach for lunch. JO's chicken and blueberry bowls for dinner.
