It’s been a lovely morning but the rain is due to arrive soon and the temp supposed to drop from 13c to 6c by early evening 😕
Got some washing out and dried this morning, had a walk around town, picked up some liver from the butcher and made a casserole for dinner tonight.
Lunch was a prawn salad pitta and I’ll just need to prep some veg to go with the liver casserole tonight.

I'm glad you're feeling better Farway.
I volunteered an extra day at petworth this week as it's the school holidays, it wasn't as busy as expected in the bookshop although I understand it was busy in the park, I imagine people making the most of the sunshine.
My neighbours have decorators in so I asked if they recommended them and then arranged them to give me a quote tomorrow for my lounge/dining room. I really must start that ball rolling.
Chicken pasta salad for lunch. LO Korean beef Brice bowl for dinner

Good morning everyone,
Glad tum has settled Farway.
Dry and bright here, it's much colder but I'll happily take the chill in exchange for some sunshine though is supposed to return late afternoon. Need to tackle the hoovering today and finalise tomorrow's Tesco order.
Fridge bits for lunch and tonight it's salmon with couscous, roasted and green veg.

Sun trying hard but feeling chilly, rain due sometime over the weekend
Asda order arrived, the on offer salmon was not available, or subbed, so zero salmon to portion up.😭
Although not what I wanted to happen it is not terrible or ruined any big plans, except buying cheap salmon and freezing it. With hindsight it was good job I bought on offer half leg of lamb in Morries yesterday
At least all 5 for a quid veg arrived, and looking good, nice small carrots, very fresh Spring Greens, and the spuds are blemish free and dent looking as well. I'll forgive the missing salmon
Lunch, quick change of menu, bacon I thought expired on 9th is really 3rd, so BLT lunch
Dinner, Nil salmon delivery means no salmon salad, but use up bacon with eggs & chips.

I have had a smoothie so far. I am making beans on toast for brunch.

Very hard frost this morning but glorious sunshine has warmed us up nicely.
Now that I’m on to April's budget and I’ve made some wriggle room in the freezer I nipped back to tesco this morning for some more 15p veg and a couple of SO joints. Stuck them both in the freezer meantime until I decide what I’m going to do with them.
Lunch was a pitta stuffed with salad, hummus and falafel.
Dinner is more from my freezer supplies = spinach & ricotta tortellini, pesto, sweetcorn and feta.

Back from a few days offline due to a house move. Gosh, I’m tired 🥱 but very nearly all sorted now and no work until Tuesday 🙃
Tuna and sweetcorn sandwich for lunch to use up some tuna of indeterminate age (lost track of days and when I opened the tin) but it smelt ok. Was going to do something creative tonight but gave up and had pesto pasta with some LO roast chicken, broccoli, spring onion and cherry tomatoes.

is it change of location JKS or a local move? I bet you're glad to have Easter to recover
Shame about the salmon Farway
I waited in this morning for the decorator to come to look at the work, he'll email the quote but is speaking to a plasterer as well. He wouldn't be able to start until September, indoor jobs until June then he does outside painting for the summer. I think it's a good sign he's booked that far in advance.
I forgot to get a birthday card for the little one she's four on Saturday, not sure where that time has gone? So popped to JL/waitrose for their free parking and I had a voucher for free 40 twining teabags and 50p off milk 🙂
EF called early afternoon to tell me she wants to go home after all, unfortunately the reason why she decided she couldn't go home are still there. Today she believes we aren't really looking for a place here in town and have been living to her, I was a little annoyed where the conversation went. I told her as it is Easter and I'm out Tuesday and Wednesday it will be Thursday before I can speak to anyone, I'm hoping she will change her mind again or the SW will contact me. She is aware that I have rehome some of her belongs but is also aware her furniture is still there.
Bacon sandwich for lunch. Kedgeree for dinner with peas and edamame beans added to the rice, there are LOs of course. Could have done with a bit more curry in the rice

Good morning everyone,
Happy new home JKS
Shame about the salmon Farway, I'm hoping the three sides I've ordered arrive okay if not DS2 will be getting dispatched to get some in store!
Manky, wet day here. DS2 is off shopping in Glasgow and will come home via the Chinese supermarket as we are needing a few bits. Tesco are due later and I want to play with my new toy Leg & Foot Circulation Machine | 2-Year Warranty Included | WeightWorld which hoping will help my sore hands and shoulders. One of my friends has one and we all had a shot when we were away recently and it was fab.
There's LO couscous with veg that will form the basis for lunch with either sardines or tuna. I've chicken breast defrosting for tonight I'll decide later what to do with it.

Oh dear Brambling I fear this is only the start of EF’s indecision, you're going to need the patience of a saint to get through this 🙄
Chilly but frost free this morning, I took a walk to the fishmonger to get something for dinner tonight but it’s not really a day for leisurely walking.
It is a day for a bowl of warming soup for lunch, also helps to keep freezer stash manageable.
There’s some salad stuff that needs using up so I’m thinking of haddock goujons, potato salad, mixed leaf salad and I’ll pimp up the mayonnaise with some of the leftover pesto.
