That’s the joy of CFO, N2BT - eat what you want when you want 😉

All the weathers here today but did get out for a good walk this afternoon while it was sunny but very breezy. More tidying, sorting and domestics other than that but a lazy morning for sure.

Quiche, baked beans and bread and butter for lunch. Gnocchi puttanesca with the end of the broccoli and mange tout tonight. Must do a food shop tomorrow.

Petworth day today, it was a lovely day beautiful blue sky until about 2pm then it rained for about an hour. The bookshop was just the right side of busy, not too manic. Two bags of EFs books taken in today, even using the buggy from the carpark I'll need to carry less next time as my hip is a little achy tonight.

I managed to lose half my porridge in the microwave this morning I just turned my back for a couple of seconds to put the milk back in the fridge and ended up with a porridge volcano 🫣

Lunch was the same as yesterday, salmon and rice salad. Easy dinner of jacket potato with tuna mayo and salad

Dull & cold start to first day of BST. At least the clock in my car is now back to the right time until winter.

I suspect many of us have had the porridge volcano, turn your back & boom, like spuds on the hob.

Lunch, LO HM chunky chicken & leek soup

Dinner, something with sausages, either egg & chips, or mash. Make my mind up later

Wet and windy here so I'm hunkered down at home catching up on chores and tv programmes I missed during the week.

Bacon roll for lunch and dinner is meat and 3 veg - roast pork, roast pots & parsnips and a green one which I’ll decide on later.

    Good afternoon everyone,

Think we have the same weather N2BT, it feels as though winter has returned!

Managed most of my "to do" yesterday apart from the ironing which may or may not get tackled later. I was late up due to clock's going forward so it will feel like a short day. I must remember to chank the manual clock in the kitchen. Bacon with mushrooms, tomatoes and spinach for lunch. Chicken, veg and lentil soup for dinner.

Properly confused by the clock change today, was awake silly early but went back to sleep until late (although not as late as I thought 😅). Left me behind all day. Awful weather so not been far but did get groceries and petrol.

Scrambled eggs and mushrooms on toast for lunch.

Chicken, potato, red pepper and balsamic tomato traybake with green beans tonight.

Farway shared his dull weather with me, not sure if he had the rain we had this afternoon but it wasn't very heavy.

Visited EF this afternoon and then spent a couple of hours at her flat sorting stuff.

    Mushroom omelette for lunch,

A quarter of a large chicken taken out of the freezer for dinner roasted with usual veg. There's about half of the chicken portion left.

Sunny start, but feels cold, supposed to get better as the week goes by. I did have the rain as well Brambling, enough to water my broad beans for me.

Off my food this morning, not sure if it's left over lurgy or just clocks messing about. I expect I'll be picking at things during the day as the mood takes me. No CFO planned but I shan't starve.

I'll freeze the LO sausages for another day

    Good morning everyone,

Still cold and wild here though there is very brief glimpses of sunshine between the wintery showers. I'm hoping I can dodge the down pours when I head to physio at lunch time.

Chicken, veg and lentil soup for lunch. Omelette, AF chips and salad for dinner.
