Blowy here. Freezer and cupboard gravel for dinner.

I had such nice classes yesterday. I have my wonderful cleaner here at the moment. I don't know why I dithered so much about that.
I have had sourdough toast and Flora so far today. It feels cold now as I had the windows open so I put the heating on.

Good morning everyone,
Cold, wet and blowing a hooley here. Winter has return with feeling! Woke up this morning with a swollen lip and a huge cold sore, my lips are chapped after having the cold and I missed the warning tingles so hoping the cream still helps it go away.
Need to catch up on a stack of voluntary admin and various chores so once I finish my cuppa will get cracking. Eggs with LO veg & lentils for lunch. JO's sweet and sour pork with rice and veg for dinner.

Very cold and windy here too but the sun is shining at the moment.
I had a pub lunch yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed what was a huge portion of steak pie and chips so I only needed a slice of toast and a piece of fruit later on.
Back down to earth today with soup from the freezer for lunch and tonight I’ll have pesto crusted salmon with roast vegetables.

Wet & windy evening, but cold & sunny this morning
Took the opportunity to go to Morries, just a YS mooch + cheese. Finished up with a nice cauliflower and some on offer leeks. I foresee cheese sauce on the horizon
Had hoped for maybe Easter offer on salmon, but none found, lamb & pork, but not what I wanted.
Morries have given up tempting me with £6 off £60 spend, they found I'm a cheapskate, so new offer is £3 off £30 😁
I hope to complete my Asda delivery shop for next week, offer of £3 in my bin if I order before 1/4 and delivery is after 2/4. Mine would be anyway, but may as well make sure
Still have LO chicken, but not really fancying it so may do "chicken something" in pressure cooker and freeze it for another day
Lunch, cheese salad sarnie
Dinner, TBD, plenty of salad bits plus LO apple crumble

it was very windy last night I got up to shut my window just after 1am as it was noisy and chilly. Some early April showers today and a definite cold wind when I got back from Petworth, I would get warm and turned my heating on for the first time in weeks.
Four of the volunteers in today to get some work done which was nice as we don't see much of each other.
I got a email this afternoon re EF move to permanent care home saying there was a waiting list so could be a while it seems they appoint a someone called a broker to deal with it, when I replied to say assume her current care home which was for a limited assessment period would still be ok for a while I got a unhelpful reply the I would have to wait until we were given a broker for a response which isn't helpful. I'm also getting daily calls from EF about when will she be moved, a day with books was light relief!
Lunch was LO fried chicken, coleslaw and salad. I used LO potatoes and broccoli to make bubble and squeak with chorizo and a poached egg on top.

Mixed blue sky and clouds, at least it's dry, if still a bit chilly
Starting to get bit of a round with EF by the sounds of it Brambling, hopefully the Broker will be more useful, but like most things associated with "Care" I somehow doubt it, and hope to be wrong
Lunch, TBD, maybe fish fingers?
Dinner, Harry Ramsden £10 meal deal from Morries bought yesterday. It's for two, so one cod fillet & some chips today, rest tomorrow

Good morning everyone,
I hope thing move at pace for EF once the broker is in place Brambling,
Cold, grey and damp here today. Home alone, well home with pooch, until this evening as DS2 headed off early doors to spend the day at the office. Despite a decent stint yesterday, I've hardly made a dent in the voluntary admin so will get back to it today and probably tomorrow as a chunk needs doing this week.
LOs for lunch and chilli & tomato eggs with salad and sweet potatoes for dinner.

It’s bitterly cold again but thankfully the wind has dropped quite a bit. There was a flurry of snow late afternoon yesterday so no doubt inland areas probably have loads more - shame just in time for lambing.
I have the second installment of the shingles vaccine today and because I felt a bit yucky after the first one I’ve got a chicken & chickpea curry going in the SC for an easy meal tonight.
There’s salmon leftover from last night so I’ve mixed it with some pasta and veg in a salad ready to have for lunch when I get back.
