Glad you are feeling better Caronc and hope the weather is kind to you for your trip away.

I met up with a friend this morning and we decided on a walk in the sunshine with a take out cuppa for a change. Before getting the bus home I popped into aldi for some veg and was lucky to get some reduced asparagus, seems to be the only time I have it is when on offer or reduced these days.

Chickpea and sweet potato soup for lunch and tonight from the freezer I’ll have the other portion of chicken and chorizo jambalaya with a tomato and cucumber salad.

It’s a good lunchbox one, Brambling, I dressed it with pesto and oil from the sun dried tomato jar, and popped some rocket in the boxes too. I had the second portion today.

Another long but good day in the office, so nice going out and coming home in the light 😊

Prawn, sugar snap pea and red pepper Thai curry with noodles tonight.

salad made ready for tomorrow thanks JKS I have no pesto but used some basil leaves and I liked the idea of the sun dried tomato oil 🙂 I had a quick taste 😋 and I'm sure will mature so it's even better tomorrow.

I had a hair appointment first thing this morning and it was nice enough not to need my jacket. I parked in Sainsbury's and did some shopping afterwards, unfortunately more than the £10 needed to cover the parking. I was tempted but didn't take advantage today if their half price or more leg of lamb, beef joint and side of salmon, I may return 😁 I wish they would put their half legs of lamb in offer, hopefully Tesco will nearer to Easter.

Last of my chicken in a wrap with salad for lunch and last of the ratatouille for dinner with some pasta to make a easy pasta sauce.

I might buy some sun dried tomatoes too.

I am only having a smoothie and a hot drink as I'm eating out for lunch. It isn't as nice a day today, but at least it isn't raining.

Another sunny day ahead, and looking good for weekend

Brambling, I wish they would put their half legs of lamb in offer, hopefully Tesco will nearer to Easter.

Asda are, unless some hidden catch. I'm hoping to get both, but may skip the lamb, even on offer it is is expensive for one. I may get lamb steak or chops instead, and portion up the salmon as usual

Lunch, LO roast chicken in a sandwich

Dinner, more LO roast chicken, with salad

Lovely sunny morning here perfect for a walk around the bay, there is still a chilly breeze so it was quite invigorating.

I picked up aldi’s italian antipasti selection and roasted vegetable couscous for a change, I’ll have some for lunch with lots of picky bits including olives, sun dried tomatoes, cucumber and lettuce.

Tonight I’ll do a lemony chicken and asparagus traybake.

A nice dry sunny day with just a little chill in the air. A volunteering day for me so I was indoors all day.

JKSs orzo salad for lunch 😋

Salmon, new potatoes and green veg for a quick dinner I made a 'salsa' to go over the fish

The roof terrace was closed yesterday at the cafe so we ate lunch at another restaurant after the class. I had another smoothie beforehand as I felt hungry. It cooled down a lot later in the afternoon so I ran a hot bath as soon as I got home and put the heating on.

It seems a bit cold today, although it doesn't look as if it will rain hopefully as I'm out today.

Have been to Aldi and bought all the ingredients for sticky toffee overnight oats which look delicious. I’ll be having them for breakfast all next week. Bagel with red pepper hoummus for lunch today and I’m making mutter paneer curry for dinner with rice in the rice cooker.
