That pup is so cute Brambling and all ears, I love it 😍
Shame the lurgy keeps hanging about Farway, the changing weather conditions won't be helping either.
Bright but colder here this morning so the perfect day for catching up on a few indoor chores and admin tasks.
I’m still using up bits, so lunch is a crusty bread pizza with a side salad. Dinner is a portion of lamb tagine from the freezer and I’ll do some asparagus, ss peas and carrots to go with it.

Very cute!
I have had some grapes and a smoothie as I'm meeting my friend for lunch. It looks like another nice day.

Another day that started off bright and sunny but then it clouded/misted over, heard someone on radio 2 saying we were enjoying spring gloom, a special kind of British weather 🙃
On a bit of a use up freezer contents mission so smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel with cherry tomatoes for lunch (salmon from freezer). Went for a swim after work and then did chicken and veg egg fried rice for tea (rice, LO roast chicken, red chilli from freezer). Also had an M&S fake magnum (in the interests of freezer decluttering obviously 😉)

I hope the lurgy has gone Farway? I've a gland come up in my neck this afternoon and a slightly sore throat, hopefully nothing too bad as I'm too busy to be ill.
Farway I fear i will end up eventually with the dog but hopefully not too soon, my sister is quite active still but my BIL not so much following his radiation last year, he's not as steady on his feet as he used to to be.
I had to drop something in town this morning and popped into Waitrose for ease of parking, I had a shopping list from EF for toiletries which luckily were on offer, even then as all branded items they weren't cheap, luckily I wasn't paying. I took them to the care home to visit this afternoon it was a 'fun' visit as she didn't want to wear her hearing aids!
Scrambled egg on toast for lunch. I was t that hungry tonight, throat started to hurt on the way home from seeing EF (hopefully not contagious!) so I had some fruit and yogurt

I just had toast with Flora and sourdough. I have two classes today. It looks like it could rain later, but I should be home by then.

Good morning everyone,
What a gorgeous pup Brambling❤️
Back from my travels lol as we actually went to caravan park just a few miles away which we ended up booking just a couple of weeks ago after our original accommodation unexpectedly cancelled on us . It was inland and very rural so could have been anywhere. What a laugh we had, just the tonic everyone needed despite it being a tad cramped. After four days of lots of food and wine the scales are being surprisingly kind so back on the straight narrow from today. Greek style scrambled eggs for lunch and tonight it's the Hairy Bikers cod with chorizo and lentils served with lots of steamed veg.

Dull with a chill wind, and this is the "better part" of the weather.
At least my lurgy seems to have gone, or at least in back to a lurking lurgy. Hope the sore throat is just that Brambling and gives up without a fight
No lurgy free my appetite is back, with use ups in the fridge.
Lunch, cheese salad sarnie
Dinner, AF bangers, AF frozen chips, use up mushrooms in use up eggs omelette, and grilled wrinkly tomatoes. Living the dream 😁!

I am in Costa having a toastie and a juice in between classes. The vegan cafe was full up, but I got two cookies to take away.

Absolutely chucking it down here!
In the office today and we went out for team lunch 😋
Easy tea of the other cottage pie tonight, just popped in the oven and cooked some broccoli. Have also decluttered the end of the 🍷

I'm glad you had a good break Caronc
My throat is still a little sore and my gland is still raised (just the one!) but I feel ok, I'm just ensuring I'm drinking plenty.
I spent a couple more hours at EFs flat after lunch and brought some more stuff to rehome via freecycle. Three items were collected tonight and nine more are to be collected by four people from my doorstep tomorrow morning. I've added to the tip bag and created a new CS bag.
Sardines on toast for lunch. I boned and skinned some chicken thighs from the fre3zer and made fried chicken in the AF. Chicken, coleslaw and salad for dinner I didn't fancy chips or wedges
