DIL mum must be enjoying her baby cuddles Caronc 🙂
it's been a dreary day again, not so bad as was volunteering and didn't go out lunchtime. We were not too busy so finished before 5pm.
My sister popped around to drop off a couple of bags of books from my nephew for Petworth tomorrow so we gossiped over a cuppa.
Rice salad with salmon for lunch. Cottage pie with root veg mash from the freezer with broccoli for dinner

Brightening up weather wise, which is good, because I'm going over to DS soon, a working visit, pruning his apple trees. His arms, my head 😁
Lunch, eating over DS, so could be out to GC cafe, maybe
Dinner, depends on lunch. I have a home cooked MS chicken quarter, so could rustle up a salad in no time if I wanted to.

Good morning everyone,
Another lovely afternoon of cuddles and baby gazing was had. Frank headed off home without a backward glance lol! LOs got bunged in the fridge, the ham and salad all got eaten and we'll easily use up the remaining soup and chicken. Ari arrives this afternoon for a wee overnight so it remains a revolving pooch household!
Lentil soup for lunch and tonight I'm making crispy shredded tofu which we'll have with baked sweet potatoes and salad.

Yoghurt with compote for breakfast, Hoummus open sandwich with a couple of beetroot pickles and some coleslaw for lunch, baked potato with sour cream and chive for dinner.
I am waiting in for a delivery and half heartedly attempting the housework. Need to trek out to collect a prescription later.

I just had some mushroom pâté on sourdough toast with some flaxseeds sprinkled on top. I just bought a packet from a health food shop yesterday. It feels quite mild today.

Temp plummeted last night but we've had a lovely sunny day so I got some washing out early, there wasn't much of a breeze but it did dry.
Lunch was a croissant with cheese, lettuce and tomato.
Dinner tonight is asparagus wrapped in parma ham and topped with a poached egg.

Volunteering at Petworth today and it was lovely and sunny, they have daffodils along the bank from the car park. I woke up with the sniffles this morning which have not progressed to anything worst although I did need my inhaler walking from the car park to the house. I think it's too early for hay fever? I'm hoping it will go away or I'm not visiting EF tomorrow, it seems she has told her neighbour she won't be coming home as she realised she wouldn't be able to cope any more. It would have been nice if she shared that info with me especially as on Thursday she was still talking about the possibility of home. TBH it would probably save a difficult conversation with the social worker on the 10th. We shall have to see she could change her mind.
Lunch was repeat of yesterday's salmon and rice salad.
I had taken a mystery box from the freezer for dinner but really didn't fancy it tonight, still not sure what it was, I'm afraid I threw it away and had tomato soup with a slice of cheese on toast

Dull & damp, seems one day of sun, then back we go to dull.
All went well over DS, jobs completed and a pleasant day all round
It's Use Up day today, but easy and not much CFO required
Lunch, last of the Marks sausages, if my bread is still fresh enough maybe in a sandwich, otherwise just dunked in posh brown sauce
Dinner, LO roast chicken leg quarter, with jacket spud & salad bits

I just had sourdough toast with mushroom pâté. I have a class today so I might buy myself lunch out today afterwards.

Wet and grey here so not much happening other than catching up on some domestic chores, doing my online shop and I’ll tidy the freezer this afternoon.
Last of the turkey broth for lunch and a portion of bolognese from my freezer stock for dinner.
