@Wednesday2000 she's currently being fed by my friends upstairs neighbour and he has been sitting with her for a while in the evening. Unfortunately she's a grumpy 14 year old cat as is His Lordship and I won't make him miserable by bringing her here. She also hates me as I put her in the basket for vet visits, she draws blood most trips and now usually hides from me. The neighbour doesn't want to take her either, he's just being kind and saving me a twice daily job
Lunch with family friends today with my sister and eldest nephew and family, so I got baby cuddles too 🥰 although he's a lot chunkier than your DGD Caronc 😁 little one took charge of the afternoon and bossed us all about. My friend cooked a lovely lasagna, I provided three salads and my sister dessert
I didn't get home until after 6.30pm and didn't need dinner.

Sorry JKS your portion went in the freezer 😁 but it did turn out very nice for a “bit of this & that” kind of stew, although I will admit to being a touch heavy with the harissa.
Nice sunny morning again although the forecast has a passing shower between 11 & 12 so I can't decide whether to chance putting washing out.
Lunch is leftover cauliflower couscous with cottage cheese, smoked salmon and cucumber.
Mince, tatties & skirlie tonight.

Bright grey with a cold wind, Spring day is forecast for Wednesday and I'll be very pleased to see it.
Was going to take friend to renew her driving licence at Post Office, but when I checked she already had one expiring 2028. 😄 I think she is in early stages of confusion, but of course denies any muddles
Put a loaf in the Panny BM, I was intending to buy one when out at Post Office, but of course PO trip no longer required
Italian day today 😂
Lunch, cheap tinned spag hoops on stale bread toast
Dinner, MFO RM veggie lasagne

Good afternoon everyone,
Sounds like a lovely afternoon Brambling.
Oh skirlie, N2BT not had it in yonks. Not sure if fits particularly well with my new eating regime but it is gorgeous.
Grey and very raw here today with a bitter wind. I'm glad DS2 was able to take me to and collect me from physio so I didn't have to be out in for very long. Physio itself can only be described as "very thorough" so I'll feel it for a few days but he happy with how the swelling etc, is coming down so barring and set backs I'm not back for two weeks.
Lunch was the last portion of soup from the freezer, tomato and lentil and very good it was too! I must get some more made as soup is my go to for lunch most days. I have all the bits needed for a pot of chicken and leek so I think that will be this week's option. That said I'm out for lunch tomorrow so no rush to get it made. Trying this Cumin pork noodles recipe - BBC Food . The recipe serves four but will make the whole amount of sauce and pop half in the freezer for DS1 & DIL.

Another day that seems to have flown by and I couldn’t tell you what I actually did, dealt with lots of random queries and minor problems I think 🙄
Managed a short walk at lunchtime to collect a parcel. Was sunny and milder but the wind was cold.
LO chicken, peppers and chickpeas plus the end of the feta on a flatbread with tzatziki and lettuce for lunch. Out this evening so earlyish tea of mushroom omelette, potato croquettes and peas.

I dropped a bag off at the charity run garden centre this morning which has increased the size of their charity shop and are calling it a superstore it is huge they have converted most of their inside space to it with the exception of the cafe and one small bit for garden stuff. It's the easiest CS to make donations as you can park next to the door. If I have to clear EF flat I could be a frequent visitor, we have her social worker review at the end of the week. I did pick up six paperbacks for £6 and a butter dish I wanted a China one rather than the plastic one I use.
Home via the garden centre five minutes from home to look at the shoes in Pavers (didn't buy any) I picked up some Sussex charmer and manchego cheese from their little shop the manchego was half price from their very small cheese counter and I'll share it with my sister. And final a quick pitstop in Lidl.
Toasted muffin with scrambled eggs for a late lunch. HM nan bread pizza for dinner with loads of veggies, with salad

I know what you mean Caronc skirlie is a bit high in fat but I don’t have it often and yesterday's portion was the last of the Christmas stuff I’d stashed away in the freezer.
Visit to the hairdresser this morning which always cheers me up and despite the overcast weather I took the long way home and enjoyed a lovely walk around the bay.
Soup from the freezer for lunch and tonight a chicken & chorizo jambalaya.

I have woken up not feeling all that good as I had a very disturbed sleep so I am just staying at home in my pyjamas today and missing my class.
I haven't eaten yet as my stomach is feeling delicate. I'm going to make a smoothie when my shopping arrives.

Bright and quite spring like here too, certainly by the end of the day.
Long meeting in the office today so nipped out for a supermarket salad at lunchtime. Prawn and green bean Thai red curry with noodles tonight.
