Seems ages since I’ve had a pub lunch, although sometimes I find the portions a bit too much these days, enjoy anyway Farway.
I don't know what I’ll do when the Olympics finish tomorrow, I've really enjoyed watching this time. I’ve prepped most of tonight's meal already so that I don't miss any of today's sporting events, especially the curling 😊
Lunch is soup from my freezer stash and dinner is chicken and mushroom plate pie, with steamed carrots and cauliflower.

Good afternoon everyone,
Grey and wet here today. Yesterday we had two quite spectacular thunder showers with monsoon-like rain, sleet and hail mixed, Thankfully they seem to have passed.
Still sore but less creaky so hoping to get to Glasgow tomorrow. Tesco are due later and we have Ari overnight but apart from that I've no plans.
LO chicken and fridge bits for lunch. tonight it's steak fajitas.

Much milder here and fairly bright this morning, rain came middle of the afternoon. Slept late after my two day working week!
Scrambled eggs and mushrooms on toasted bagel for lunch. Bacon, Stilton and broccoli gnocchi tonight, not done it for ages, was nice but rich 😋

I hope you're able to get your baby cuddles tomorrow Caronc
How did the flat viewing go itsthelittlethings?
I went to visit my EF this afternoon, today was not a good day confusion wise. Although she was talking b about me contacting cat Protection re her cat so I think she is more realistic about not going home, the social worker is doing her review visit some when next week. I popped into the Waitrose near the NH, it's on the same road my old office was, I'm glad I'm not driving down there twice a day any more, it's full of pot holes or I should probably call them craters. I picked up some stuff I need to make sides as my contribution to lunch at friends tomorrow.
Sardines on toast for lunch. I picked up some breaded cod on offer on the fish counter and had it for dinner with chips and sweetcorn

Where is her cat at the moment?
I haven’t had breakfast yet. I’m going out to a class today. My friend is picking me up to drive there.2 -
Wet start, promised brighter later, hope so 'cos I'd like to have a tidy up in garden except it;'s too soggy at the moment
Pub lunch went well, although I only opted for "light bite" it was still too large for me and I left left some. Better than still being hungry I guess. I skipped dinner, just a slice of bread & cheese spread did me
Lunch, salad sandwich
Dinner, grilled pork chop, salad & AF frozen chips

Lovely sunny day here and it’s the first time I’ve managed to get washing out on the whirly this year 😎
I froze two portions of the chicken pie I made yesterday and will have a small portion for lunch today with some veg.
Dinner is a lamb “tagine” type stew with dates and apricots, and I’ll do a cauliflower, chickpea and pomegranate couscous to go with it.

Hi Brambling. I haven't been to see the suggested flat yet. Have spent the weekend cleaning, tidying and decluttering my studio flat. It looks nice if I do say so.
Had pork patties in the airfryer with airfried sprouts for lunch. I'd kept the meat to the last day so made patties with lot of chilli and fennel seeds. Pretty good. I've got one more set in the freezer.

Good evening everyone,
Lots of lovely baby cuddles and baby gazing have been had. I also had the joy of folding a huge pile of teeny clothes, life doesn't get much better. The stairs were challenge, more so coming down than up and I'm sore tonight but so worth it. We stopped by M&S on the way and bought lots of nice bits for lunch (sandwiches, wraps, quiche, salad deli bits and a fruit platter) and I also took advantage of their dine in deals to fill the new parents' fridge which some easy cook/eat options. Not cheap but tbh but because of the deals I got more for my cash than I expected. Haven't had an M&S lunch for yonks and thoroughly enjoyed it. Soup from the freezer for dinner.

Am I too late for dinner, N2BT? Sounds lovely 😋
Dry and bright, if a bit breezy here today. Out for a walk with coffee stop this morning which was lovely. Was ready for lunch when I got home so posh fishfinger sandwich with gherkins in pitta.
Easy afternoon of reading and food prep.
Chicken, pepper and chickpea traybake tonight, with green salad and tzatziki. LO chicken, peppers and tzatziki were part of the plan 😊
