  • Take it easy caronc.

Been swimming and done some washing and ironing but mostly watched people doing mad things on ice 🙃

Beans with toast for lunch. I’m away for a few days tomorrow so used up fridge bits (pesto, sun dried tomatoes, chorizo, feta) plus some frozen peas with pasta tonight.

And back to rain! My sister and I agreed on the holiday accommodation this morning, we are going back the same village in Northumberland we stayed in 2023 this time with no dodgy hip 😁 as we are staying a fortnight we have decided on a bigger place to stay with a nice garden. All booked 🍦

I kicked my sister out at 1pm to go visit EF, if I haven't promised I would have avoided going, it was torrential rain with a lot of water on the roads. It was an interesting visit! Some of the things she says are best to let slide. She was convinced it was 2028 so she wasn't 88, we were all wrong (she knew her date of birth). She's calmer than she was when she got there but understandably not very happy as she wants to be home which currently isn't possible.

I was running late so lunch was a couple of chocolate biscuits with a cuppa with my friend.

Dinner was a mushroom omelette, sweet potato fries and salad

Sunny respite from rain, supposed to be a mixed week

Good you were able to visit EF Brambling, even though it was "interesting" Once when we visited Mum in Swindon hospital she told us how she had managed to escape by climbing down the drain pipe and had got a taxi back home 🙂

    Lunch, eggs on toast

Dinner, LO repeat from yesterday, LO chick & bean casserole, LO mash & LO cabbage

It was sunny in Essex, but it is cloudy in London. Just had a smoothie in Pret as I forgot to bring my banana with me. I’m about to meet my friend for lunch in Covent Garden.

    Good afternoon everyone,

Physio was brutal but effective. He confirmed I'd given myself a proper bashing and have muscle, bone and joint bruising. I'm very sore but moving easier. Back next Monday for session 2.

Looking forward to a lovely baby gazing call later.

Lunch was soup from the freezer. Tonight it's this Chilli And Tomato Baked Eggs Recipe | Breakfast Recipes | Tesco Real Food served with salad.

Another bright and frosty morning although starting to cloud over now with sleet/snow in the forecast for later.

Ham salad for lunch and a chicken & leek risotto tonight, I’ll make a generous quantity so that I can have arancini later this week.
