I agree about the eggs Caronc, there's something very wrong with runny white 🤢
I fell asleep watching death in paradise last night so just stumbled to bed with out posting at 10.30pm.
It's been a cold but lovely day, my sister and I went out to the art supply shop this morning, I watched her shop as I didn't need anything, they have a good seconds section (aka sad corner 😁) which she finds useful for work. We stopped for a cuppa and piece of shortbread in the garden centre on the way back and picked up some half price vegetable seeds on the way out. Some how I've ended up with them I'm supposing because I have the greenhouse!
Cheese and biscuits with salad for lunch. I roasted a small beef joint from the freezer brought at Christmas in tescos half price offers. Just the usual roast dinner but minus the Yorkshire puddings

I went to my class yesterday and then went to the cinema in the evening to see Wuthering Heights. It was much colder yesterday. The cleaners are here to deep clean my house so I made a quick sandwich just before they got here. I’m eating out for lunch somewhere in Southend.

Bitterly cold again, but really looking forward to the weekend when it’s supposed to scrape into double figures.
Scrambled eggs on toast for lunch and there is a good helping of last night's stir fry leftover for dinner tonight, I just need to add some extra veg and noodles.

Good morning everyone.
Grey and very cold here.
I'm still feeling pretty sore and sorry for myself. Moving as much as I can but not getting much done. I've another physio appointment on Monday and hoping it will greatly help the healing along now all the bruising is out. I'm desperate to be mobile enough to visit DGD.
LO curry for lunch. I've an online meeting tonight at an awkward time so I will prep sausage and tomato pasta this afternoon and DS2 will sort out salad while I'm on the call.

Dull & drizzle, with cold wind to top it off
Asda delivery fist thing, I was fidgeting waiting for him because had phone form Dr's, they have one sick so could I move my appointment one hour forward, was 11, now 10.
It all worked out with time to spare, two subs, upgraded to posh bread & loo rolls for same cheapo price.
Lunch, toasted stale bread with cream cheese topping.
Lunch, lots of choice now, but despite weather I may follow N2B and have salad bits with cheesy jacket spud

another dry day ruined by rain, it started mid afternoon and there is a yellow warning as well. I used it as an excuse to stay indoors, I had some calls to make relating to EF who has no complaints about the NH other than it's not home but dislikes where it is. I'm not popular as I've had to tell her she had to stay there until her review but I have requested if she has to stay longer that it's closer to home, but no promises it depends who can take her and will take county funded patients.
I'm impressed by the passport office, I did a online application which they couldn't process until they received my old one which they acknowledged last Monday, new passport arrived this morning.
Beef and horseradish sandwich for lunch. LO beef roast for dinner

Grey but at least no rain.
Brambling but I have requested if she has to stay longer that it's closer to home, but no promises it depends who can take her and will take county funded patients.
That's the hard bit, County funded, had same with my mum, never did succeed , those places are like Hot Cakes
Limited CFO today, no lunch because I'm out to a Memorial reception around lunchtime, so maybe some sort of finger food there
Dinner, because of reception I've no real idea, so will just rely on pinging a RM Thai red curry

Good morning everyone,
I hope things work out for EF Brambling,
Grey and cold again here. I'm pooch sitting today as DS2 headed off to the office early doors, he'll be home this evening. I'm a tad less sore today so hoping that continues and I can be a bit more active. I've admin to catch up with but that is going to have to wait until I sit more comfortably. Apart from routine chores my only "must do" today is to order more logs.
Lunch is tbc either tuna salad or soup from the freezer. Korean style pork and red pepper stew for dinner with steamed veg and rice.

We had dinner at a fish and chip shop by our hotel yesterday. Vegan fish, battered sausages, chips and mushy peas. Yum. Will definitely be going back there. I had a veggie sausage roll at the hotel and am having Italian for dinner tonight. I’m not sure what I’m having for lunch. I will see what is in the fridge when I get home.

Glad you are feeling a bit easier Caronc and hope you get the chance to visit DGD before the physio has another go at you on Monday
It feels a wee bit milder today but strong wind again and some big waves overtopping the seawall.
I picked up a reduced price avocado in aldi so had that on toast for lunch followed by some fruit.
Using up the leftover risotto tonight and making arancini with a hm tomato sauce.
