it looks lovely weather for Brighton today.

I’m getting something to eat in London so I have only had a slice of toast and Flora and a banana.

    Good morning everyone,

A frosty start and a lovely bright day here. So nice to get up to some sunshine. Today I need to de-Frank my doors, there is either paw prints or nose kisses on them all lol and the sunshine doesn't half show them up!

Soup again for lunch and tonight's it's JO's chicken with blueberries and grains bowl.

Another chilly start but lovely clear skies and wall to wall sunshine. My online shop arrived early, all present and correct most of which is now portioned up and stashed in the freezer.

I used up the last banana, mashed and spread on toast for lunch.

Sainsbury had pork loin chops on nectar price offer so pork is going to feature quite a bit this month, tonight it’s pork and pepper stew, mashed potatoes, asparagus and ss peas.

Beautiful sunny day here but a chilly start - needed big coat on way to office but not when I left 8 hours later 😂

Last portion of broccoli and Stilton soup from the freezer for lunch, with a brown roll. Reheated LO pork, leek and apple casserole with mash and cabbage tonight. Why does reheated taste better than the fresh version?

There will soon be little hand prints to join the nose prints Caronc 😁

I had to go into town to sort something at EFs bank, to access the banking app I needed to do it at the bank so had a wander around. The boots I've been eying up in M&S were 50% off and I had a premium bond win so….. 😁 Home via the vet as cat Protection wanted the medical records of EFs cat as she's over 12, cat Protection were able to take my word that I had LPA to act on her behalf the vet at first wanted to speak to her but agreed that as it was the cat protection email they would accept me going in with documentation. Hopefully as CP have flagged as priority it shouldn't be long before I can take her in.

Humus and carrot wrap for lunch again. Last of my qtr chicken with vegetables and noodles for dinner

    Good morning everyone,

Hope things can quickly get sorted out for EF's cat Brambling and it soon is rehomed.

Back to grey here this morning though dry so far.

Over estimated how I would get on with the door cleaning. I only got a few done before my back and balance were complaining so I'm going to just tackle a couple a day. Like painting the Forth Road bridge they'll probably need doing again by the time I'm finished lol!

LO grains with salad bits for lunch. Cajun salmon traybake for dinner.

Lovely spring like day here, small bit of gardening enjoying the sun

My Asda delivery arrived, one OK sub, but then found a manky tomato in the pack, so I've requested refund, should be fine, only 99p and they've never quibbled before on small refunds

Lunch was BLT, had B on offer in my delivery

Dinner, small pork loin chop out defrosting, that with AF chips & salad bits

Lovely spring day here too, there was rain mentioned in the forecast but that must have passed us by.

A neighbour and I went into the City to have a look around a bathroom showroom as we are both thinking of a refurb - I thought I knew what I wanted but there is so much choice out there I’m now even more confused than ever 😯

Before getting the bus home I had time to pick up some reduced m&s food most of which I’ve put in the freezer but will use some of the pilau rice to go with leftover pork & pepper stew for dinner tonight.

Another nice day, I could get used to them 🙂

I did a little more kitchen sorting at EFs and added to the food bank bag, it was full when I dropped it off, jars 2010 spices went in the bin, in fact I threw away about 20 old jars. It made me come home and sort out my larder cupboard, only a couple of jars with about a cm of spice had set in the bottom to throw away but the cupboard is all tidied and I've a couple of tins which need using soon have been pulled to the front to use soon.

EFs neighbour advised he had to dispose of two dead mice from the lounge floor this morning, I'm hoping her 14.5 year old cat is feeling active and there are no little visitors, the cat is being allowed out all night which may account for the hunting prowess in her later years as she is usually shut in at night.

Spoke to my eldest sister this afternoon, she had her second cataract operation on Friday and is enjoying no glasses and how there is "no longer a fog to look through" 🙂 she still needs injections for macular degeneration but having her cataracts done have made a big difference to her.

My sister who lives near me texted to say DIL to be's father has had a stroke, he's only 65 and the same age as my sister so it's shook her up a bit. He's a lovely man so hopefully there's not too much damage done.

Cheese and ham wrap with salad for lunch. Stir fried beef and vegetables with black bean sauce and noodles for dinner.

    Good morning everyone,

Grey, chilly and pouring here. DS2 headed off very early to go on a Stag do so I'm CFO for a few days. My sis has just collected Hector to take him and Ari for a run on the beach. I'm hoping he's not too soggy and sandy when returns!

Fridge gravel for lunch. I've a pack of mince needing used. Tonight it will be a burger of some description and I'll either make cottage pie or chilli with the rest.
