My clock stopped again! Luckily I was up early so I didn't miss my class. I had a huge breakfast/lunch out and I still feel full up now.

The people in my class today were talking about The Traitors finale. My stomach started growling really loudly in class as I had such a small breakfast. :D

It finally stopped raining (only for today by the looks of the forecast) so got out for a bit of fresh air and supported a local charity by having lunch at their event, including amazing cake 😋

Made a curried chicken and sweet potato traybake with mango chutney tonight, served with tenderstem.

Dull and looks like rain. Supposed to be rainy until mid week, so not much to look forward to there

Lunch, seeing Brambling scrambled eggs has decided it, scrambled eggs + couple of grilled cheapo fish Fs
Dinner, was going to be salad, but with the weather, maybe RM veggie lasagne, I'll add extra cheese topping and some use up ex Christmas sprouts

    Good afternoon everyone,
Another one here still making the most of the cheap Christmas veg. Down to a small ball of red cabbage, a couple of parsnips, 3/4 of a swede and a couple of bags of shallots. Finished the carrots in last night's coleslaw.  :)
Grey, chilly and wet here today. For a change yesterday I made a marie rose style dressing for the coleslaw, there some LO so for lunch it will be mixed with tuna, hard boiled egg and corn. Soup from the freezer for dinner unless I make some later to top up supplies. I need to shorten a new pair of jeans so might not get as far as the kitchen.

Another grey day here, I just wish the strong winds would give it a rest for a while then the dreich wet weather wouldn't be so bad.

Lunch was a BLT sandwich, I haven't had one in ages and really enjoyed it.

For dinner I’m trying out a recipe I liked the sound of from Tesco's January magazine

I have eaten out today for brunch and an early dinner. The dinner was very filling as we ate at a local Mexican restaurants and the portions were huge.

Slept late this morning which threw me a bit. Quickly stripped the bed and had a bit of fruit and yoghurt so I could get a swim in. Then did a bit of helping out family before home for lunch of scrambled eggs and mushrooms on toast (was very hungry!)

Moved washing round, made a batch of smoked mackerel pate and ran an errand this afternoon. Bit of ironing, dusted and hoovered the bedroom and remade the bed when I got back.

Salmon with chipotle beans for tea.
