I had crumpets with flora and a glass of pink grapefruit squeezed into water. I have a steak bake for lunch as I bought a few yesterday and froze them. I'm going to have it with steamed carrots and broccoli to make it healthier!2025 GOALS

So far it's a dry but dull day here. I had a nice walk around the town and stopped at the butcher for a piece of round steak and some root veg to make a stew for tomorrow.
But today lunch was a prawn salad sandwich and tonight from the freezer it’s moussaka which I’ll have with shredded cabbage and ss peas.

Dry and dull here too, felt cold when I left first thing so new cosy cardigan went on, had to take it off in the office of course!
Previously advertised roast veg and feta couscous for lunch. Long day as had an appointment straight after work but there was LO sausage and leek pasta so reheated that and cooked some sugar snap peas for tonight.2 -
Farway haven't used Waitrose online since last Christmas so wasn't notified of the Christmas slots, Ocardo have only opened them for smart pass holders I think I saw it will be December before the open for the rest of us so I'll probably be facing the SMsIt's officially winter as I've had my flu jab today 🙂
whilst in town I picked up a few things including a couple of Swedish cinnamon buns 😋 from our Swedish cafe. I parked in Sainsbury's so picked up a £10 worth of shopping. Sainsbury's have 5 tins of Heinz soup for £5 so I brought 5 tins of tomato for when I cba to make soup.My sister popped around to top up the garden bin and put it out for me and I gave her a bun

Good morning everyone,
The nasty weather is beginning to ramp up here though thankfully we are away a good bit south of the amber area unless it shifts path. I'm hoping my Tesco order arrives okay as it's due just when the storm is in full flow but it won't be the end of the world if it doesn't. As a precaution I've booked a delivery on Monday which I'll cancel if this arrives okay.
I'm expecting my sis to pop by in the next hour or so as she managed to leave her headphones hear last night and she'll no doubt stay for a cuppa and a natter.
Tinned soup for lunch I think as I used the last of the HM stash from the freezer yesterday. Dinner is usual Friday tbc.2 -

The wind is starting to pick up here and is supposed to be at its worst during the evening and throughout the night, thankfully we are not in the amber area either.
I had a restless night and am so glad I got organised yesterday, all that was needed today was a bit of tidying and some veg prep for tonight.
L - Bacon sandwich with brown sauce
D - Beef stew, mashed potatoes and buttery cabbage.

Grey and wet all day here but really windy since this evening, weekend doesn’t look great 😕
Posh fishfinger sandwich for lunch. Tapas tonight with some M&S baguette (this is not just a baguette….😂)
Already in bed with hot water bottle!2 -
Grey and wet here as well. I'm hoping tomorrow's weather won't be too bad as I'm driving down to Dorset first thing for a family afternoon tea, with as many of my siblings as can make it. Unfortunately my sister who lives local to me can't make it so I'm hoping 2.5 hours of driving wouldn't upset the hip, I missed the last one in May so didn't want to miss this one the family are getting older and frailer with three in-laws all receiving cancer treatment. I'll stop off for a break and I'm staying for the weekend so hopefully will still be walking by the time I get home Sunday evening.
Volunteering today but I only did a half day and I dropped off some fabric to the restorer who has my chair and mahjong set, the app tells me that a small premium bond win this month is paying for the work 😁LO salmon with salad for lunch.I had some potato and cheese crisp bakes in the freezer which were YS so AF one for dinner with some veg.Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin2 -
I had my physio and my MH therapist today and then a class in the evening. I have done a lot of walking back and forth! Almost 19,000 steps.
I had a date, banana, peanut butter and oat milk smoothie this morning and a sandwich, crisps and fruit when I got home.
I’m about to have a snack now as it is quite late and don’t feel like cooking. I might just have a tinned soup.
it is mild outside, but raining most of the day and very windy out there.2025 GOALS
