The sun is managing to break through now but it was a very grey and windy start to the day.
I had a portion of soup for lunch with a slice of cheese on toast.
There is enough of the sausage pasta leftover to have again tonight, I just need to do some more broccoli to go with it.

Let us know how the Tofu tasted please Caronc, I have some in my fridge to use. I saw someone whilst scrolling tear the tofu rather than cutting it as they said it made it crispier so I thought I would try and never got round to it!Lovely day with blue skies and a little chilly, Petworth was quite quiet, at least in the house and shop.LO coronation chicken and salad for lunch. Good morning everyone,
Complete change in the weather, after a very wet day yesterday it's dry and bright this morning.
The tofu was good though the recipe was not without it's flaws (no oil to cook the floured tofu for one). The hot sauce/butter mix was little too much for me so I just had a drizzle of it rather than tossing the cubes through it. I'd make it again though but with a less spicy sauce. There's some of the tofu LO which I'm going to re-crisp in the air fryer to have with avocado and some of the last of the homegrown tomatoes in a wrap for lunch.
Tonight I'm making Meliz Berg's chicken flatbreads, you have to very finely chop the chicken but apart from that is a nice easy one. We'll have those with salad and maybe a few AF chips.

Had a big East End fry up this morning so no lunch and an early tea of baked sweet potato with butter and Hoummus with tenderstem broccoli. Whenever I see tenderstem broccoli I think of that advert which says “you’re not broccoli, you’re broccolovely”. They are slowly earning their ad money back through me.35 NS&I

Beautiful autumnal day here, have had door and windows open for a lot of the day, and a load of towels almost completely dried on the line 😊
I’ve done various bits of cleaning and tidying, ironing and some life admin. Wandered to M&S food for chicken and bread.
Quiche Lorraine, baked beans and bread and butter for lunch. Chicken thigh, new potato and cherry tomato traybake tonight, with a green salad.1 -
Thanks for the review Caronc 🙂
it's been a gray day but didn't quite rain, just as well as my sister came around to do some gardening stuff for me and managed to fill my garden wheelie bin. I did point her in the direction of my japonica as she wanted some quince to try and make membrillo with them, she picked about 2.5kg. I repaid her with a roast lamb lunch and then finish setting up her new laptop and transferring everything from her very old temperamental one I nearly resorted to gin as she was hovering behind me worried. His lordship misses me WFH as he loves laptops on the table for some reason, he was in heaven with me working on two of them so he had to be put out to calm down as he was being a giant pain!Lunch was roast lamb, using a small half leg Easter offer joint from the freezer. My nephew couldn't join us but requested any spare lamb so my sister took home what was left.
i didn't need much dinner, just some fruit and cheese at 8pmLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin1 -

Good morning,
Back grey here today with showers forecast for this afternoon. I hope they hold off until after I'm back from physio.
I made a delicious pot of soup yesterday so use up a surfeit of carrots and coriander so some of that will be lunch. Carrot and coriander soup recipe - BBC Food
Tonight we are having an "eat the fridge" dinner as we seem to have lots of lurking LO bits. I'll have a proper look later and see if I need to make anything to go along with them I also want to start a pot of ragu for spag bol on Wednesday and prep the base for a chicken, turmeric and lentil soup/curry to have tomorrow.
