Another cooler day with lovely blue skies 🙂

my dishwasher died before my op and replacing it was parked, today I noticed that although I removed the water I would get at it now had a good couple of inches in and when I opened the door was a bit whiffy.  My lovely sister popped in for a cuppa and bailed it out for me as I still can't get down that far 🙂 Replacing it will now happen on Monday before it needs doing again.  She also put my wheelie bin out as it was very full and heavy after some decluttering.

i made some apple and blackberry lunchtime with donated apples from a friend whose tree came down a week ago and some blackberries I was given from the freezer.  i decided to be good and omit the crumble!

Scrambled egg on toast for lunch.  A healthier version of yesterday's fish and chips for dinner, with salmon and new potatoes and green vegetables with salsa verde

    Good morning everyone,
I keep waiting for my dishwasher to die as I've had for almost 20 years and it's only a very basic Bosch. I think the fact it is very simple and we have very soft water has helped keep it going.
Lovely and bright here though with definite Autumnal nip. The forecast is pants for the weekend.
My sis really loved the JO sausage pasta so took the LOs. Lunch for me will be fridge gravel or soup.
Tesco are due later, don't yet if there are any subs or OOS items. Dinner will be the usual Friday tbc.

Dull & cool this morning, a big difference from yesterday

Hope the dishwasher replacement is easy, Brambling. I have to get a slimline one due to space, so my options are limited, which is fine, all I really need is stop / start button and not fifteen wash options  :D

Lunch, problem solved by Brambling, scrambled eggs on toast!
Dinner, the SC chicken, turned out well, dropping to bits, could be more salad or if weather still dull, AF chips

Another lovely sunny day here, it’s not too windy although the sea is quite choppy.

Leftover corned beef hash for lunch.

Tonight I’m using the last one of the tesco pork and paprika sausages I had stashed in the freezer. I’ll take it out of the skin and use it in a sausage & broccoli pasta.

I got up late and I had an appointment so I had to grab a smoothie. It was nice, banana, dates, almond milk, peanut butter and ice. It was filling as well so I didn't feel that hungry for lunch I might buy some dates in my next shopping order.

I also only need a slim line dishwasher Farway my kitchen isn't very big.  There is a shop in town which I think are local to Sussex which have several and they will disconnect as well as connect and not everyone will do that.  At least now the slimline ones have come down in price. I think my current one was a Friday afternoon/ Monday morning one as it isn't that old.

Volunteering day in town today and someone decided it was cold enough to put the heating on, I was happy with just adding a cardi.

cornation chicken with salad for lunch.

portion of lasagna from the freezer for dinner.

I had ackee on toast again for breakfast. I got some frozen fruit out to make a smoothie. I'm ordering groceries from Sainbury's for a change. I'm going out to an event later tonight.

    Good morning everyone,
Manky wet day here. DS2 has just returned from a soggy 5 mile walk with the pooches, that will do them for the day. No real plans apart from usual  chores and sorting out pooch veg (raw from Frank, cooked for Hector). Dinner last night was pollock baked in foil with Calvo Nero, baby corn, sugar snap peas and spring onions with a few separately cooked HM oven chips. There some fish and veg LO for lunch. Trying this recipe tonight Buffalo Tofu | High-Protein Meals | Tesco Real Food .
