Wow, we definitely had some rain yesterday afternoon too caused mayhem on the roads, but lovely and sunny now with a nice breeze to get my washing dry.
Lunch today is a portion of soup from my freezer stash.
For dinner it’s another recipe from tesco september magazine, although I used turkey mince instead of chicken.

I had some wholemeal toast with Flora and a glass of grapefruit juice. I am going to get a pitta out of the freezer and have it toasted with some guacamole, salad and roasted chickpeas. I am going to roast them now in the air fryer.2025 GOALS

Office day today (and typically the weather was perfect for putting washing out, oh well) so took a lunchbox of roast sweet potato and goats cheese rice salad. Also had a free banana 🍌
Tuna steak with pepper and new potato stew tonight.1 -
It's been a better day today, nice and dry.
i popped to Lidl lunchtime for a couple of bits and was led astray with one of their Portuguese custard tarts 😋 then home via The Range which was full of Halloween and Christmas stuff (blah humbug). They didn't have what I went in for so just a little spent 😁 and by then I cba to see if Tesco had it which is next door.
Cream cheese and ham bagel for lunch with salad. Sausage, mash and greens for dinner with LOs for bubble and squeak either tomorrow or Thursday.
I watched bake off so just catching up on the sewing bee final now.Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin1 -
Wet, drizzle & grey dull.Which is a shame, I was thinking of going to Morries just for a YS mooch & some cheese, but It's not that desperate to go out in this gloom.Especially as I had a tinge of Lurgy yesterday, shivering & off my food, seems OK now, but don't want to push it.Lunch, sandwich or toast, filling / topping TBDDinner, with my brief lurgy I never had the sausages etc yesterday, so try again, cheap frozen sausages, with AF chips, mushrooms & eggs

Good morning everyone,
Grey, damp and chilly here.
Rice dish last night was very good but despite scaling it down it made loads, not quite enough for another main meal for two adults certainly enough for two main portions and two lunch or kids meals. We both agreed using the full amount of veg was a good call though as otherwise it would have been a bit stodgy. Is on the make again list.
Tonight my sis and DS1 are coming for dinner. Not much cooking involved though as we are having Turkish lentil soup from the freezer, Greek pie from Lidl, salad and crusty bread.1 -
Rainy and a bit chilly here. I'm feeling much better today and I booked tickets last night to see Bryan Adams in Brighton in December. I'm about to call the kennel to book my dog in.
I need my usual smoothie and toast this morning.2025 GOALS

I really liked it, however as it serves 6 I halved the quantities but did use heaped tsp’s of the spices just to make sure the flavour wasn't lost and I could certainly taste the cumin and coriander. I also used spring onions and onion granules in the meatballs instead of grated onion.
I have some of the yoghurt and tahini sauce leftover so I’m having it for lunch with flatbread, salad and veg sticks.
Tonight from the freezer stash is liver & bacon casserole, I'll have it with some mashed potatoes & swede.
