It has been a nightmare today in Brighton Brambling with the rainy weather.🤪 I met my friend who I haven't ever met face to face as we have just chatted online for 13 years as she lives in the south of France! We couldn't do any of the things we wanted to do like picnics on the beach and parks so we trawled the chazzers. It was fun however.
We had dinner at a restaurant in Kemptown and I had pizza and a salad and a very nice gin and tonic.2025 GOALS

Good morning everyone,
A mix of sunshine and torrential showers here and it's very windy.
I changed my bed yesterday and while I'm still on my summer duvet I added a fleecy blanket on top. Really felt the benefit last night and I'm wondering if part of the reason my sleep has been poor recently is that I've not been warm enough!
Home alone until this evening and probably CFO for dinner as DS2 has gone to the office and they are having pizza for lunch. I've few bits I need to get done but otherwise no real plans. LO taco bowl for lunch. Dinner is tbc mostly like soup or HM RM from the freezer.1 -
It’s nice and warm when the sun is out but there is quite a change in temp when the clouds appear.
Spent the morning catching up on a few household chores and updating the freezer inventory.
Lunch was turkey meatballs, sliced and stuffed in a wrap with salad and leftover chimichurri sauce.
Dinner - grilled sausages with greek butter beans and purple sprouting broccoli.

It was raining when I woke up, but it has turned into a nice sunny day now I'm heading home.
I just had a slice of mushroom quiche with two mixed salads at a cafe.2025 GOALS

That's a shame Wednesday at least you had a chance to meet and catch up, you're have to try again hopefully not in another 13 years.
its been a damp day with a heavy downfall early afternoon but it was short lived, my sister in the New Forest said they had the same but with thunder. Luckily her dog is now deaf enough with age not to hear it anymore.
i had a hour free electricity with octopus 🐙 between noon and 1pm so prepped before then and did some batch cooking as well as washed my bedding even though it wasn't drying weather. I even cooked some veg for the next few days and boiled some eggs which needed using. It will make volunteering easier tomorrow and Saturday.
i made a large lasagna and froze 3 portions, one portion went in the fridge and I had a small amount for lunch today 😋 well I had to sample before freezing most of it 😁I was picking as I cooked
i roasted some diced squash and sweet potato when the oven was on and made it into risotto for dinner using the microwave. There are LO to cover another dinner.I'm a big achy having stood cooking for too long and was caught limping by my sister 🙄 she's not happy I'm volunteering two days this week, but I can leave both early if I need to.Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin2 -

Good morning everyone,
Blowy and showery here today. There's been a noticeable drop in temperature. DS2 said the wind was icy and he wished he'd worn a hat when walking Hector first thing.
My stove is getting serviced and swept this afternoon so after I've finished my cuppa I'll clean it out and rearrange the furniture so they have a clear run.
Last night I made a cheese omelette for dinner which I had with green beans, tenderstem, tomato, spring onions and AF chips. Thoroughly enjoyed and there are no LOs so fridge gravel for lunch. Pooch sitting Hector and Frank this evening while the kids have dinner with their Dad, dinner is tbc.1 -
I have woken up so hungry today. I've done nearly 40,000 steps the past two days! I just had white toast with butter and a large glass of vanilla soya milk. I have a reiki session this afternoon. It seems a nice sunny day here today in Essex, but it might rain later.2025 GOALS
