We had quite a thunderstorm early evening yesterday, a lot of rumbling and a few lightning flashes followed by such a downpour that the drains couldn't cope. Lovely sunny day today though.
Cottage cheese salad for lunch.
Tonight a creamy chicken pesto pasta

Brighter day here today except for a couple of sharp showers early afternoon. Waited to put the washing out until that had passed over but then got two loads dry 😊
Scrambled eggs and mushrooms on toast for lunch. Chorizo and sweetcorn orzo tonight.1 -
I volunteered today until 2pm when my ankle objected to me sitting down with no footrest and swelled up, it was good to be back. Typical it was a nice bright sunny day after a week of rain! I forgot the schools went back today so had fun getting out of my road this morning.
i had a slight brain f!!! this evening checking my credit card statement,I could not remember a payment and the payee didn't make sense to me. I checked emails, my diary and thought I would have to call them when I Google it and it was obvious 'AA B2B' is my Toyota annual recovery (which is covered by the AA).
I took in some fruit to snack on lunchtime and had a late lunch of cheese and apple when I got home. LO chicken, chorizo and orzo traybake for dinner with green veg a nice easy ping dinnerLife shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin1 -
Good morning everyone,
The gloom lifted yesterday but it's forecast to be grey all day today. Such a shame as it's the local air show today and tomorrow. Lots of the military craft flew in over my house yesterday, Hector wasn't hugely impressed!
The jury is still out re if I'm going to have to phone the physio for another session next week so another day of gentle pottering planned for today.
Last night I cooked chicken thigh fillets and loads of veg with Greek seasoning in a foil bag for dinner. It was very tasty and there's LOs for lunch. Tonight it's pork chops, salad and AF chips.1 -

I had a fresh orange juice and vegan fish and chips at the vegan festival for lunch. It is lovely and sunny in Bournemouth today. I could imagine living here.2025 GOALS

The day started with an absolutely stunning sunrise but clouded over as the morning went on. It is warm and there’s a bit of a breeze perfect for getting the washing dry without going crunchy.
I had some leftover boiled potatoes so I sliced and fried them, topped with a runny fried egg for lunch
Went early to the fishmonger for eggs and a piece of haddock, fancied some breaded fish, chips & peas tonight.

I grew up near Bournemouth but haven't been there for about 40 years, one of my sisters lived in a flat off the Square between marriages in the mid 70s, it's all changed now it's a university town. I'm glad you got some good weather Wednesday.
I decided I didn't need anything in town so decided against going in today, so a pottering day and I dozed off in the chair watching TV this afternoon, My sister popped around for a couple of hours this evening.
Turkey soup from the freezer for lunch, I didn't think I had any left 🙂 I'll have to visit the farm shop soon for a turkey drumstick.
Stir fry duck and vegetables and rice for dinner, I put in more chilli oil than intended so my sinus were cleared.Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage - Anais Nin2
